What do you think about this game?

What do you think about this game?

I haven't played it.

Underrated gem

i have this game, haven't touched it yet
the demo I played 10 years ago seemed very clunky and I couldn't get into it, I literally only downloaded it because it was anime

Wait, is this anime? Like, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 anime or just Final Fantasy anime?

The grinding made me lose interest in Chapter 5.

FF.

I loved the game but realized it's flaws. Gameplay takes time to get use to but once it clicks it may seem repetitive for some. Loved the banter between the cast and the English dub is pretty good if you can get past one of the characters sounding like robin from teen titans.

Oh, good. Thank you.

this
PS4 re-release when?

Unfortunately it gets very repetitive once you know how battles work. The fact that the game basically gives you everything it has to offer at the start is a blaring problem. But i did like how actiony everything looked during battles.

Great once you get used to the combat. Gun "customization" is ridiculous

The only things I remember about this game are the music, hilariously modding guns, some turtle boss, and YOU MESSED WITH THE WRONG GIRL

The best take on religion I've seen in a Japanese game.

...

>Great game
>Underrated
>Kinda boring
>Not many people played
Is this right?

It's a really fun unique game. Difficulty spikes very quickly though. Not a bad point to some but I personally found it very difficult.

It's okay. Possibly underrated, but it's not a gem.

how do you move the guns?

You forgot grindy and repetitive.

Customization doesn't translate over to the in game models.

Sorry? I mean, in the chart there it looks like the guns have been moved to the far right, but I thought you couldn't do that? Or are those different gun models all together?

Unique enough role-playing game.
Played for about an hour, combat was confusing.
Didn't like the fact there was no story.
Might go back to it when I take my PS3 out from the dustpile.

Oh, right, sorry. I will put with the boring part.
>Great game
>Underrated
>Kinda boring because repetition and grind
>Not many people played
>Very unique JRPG, has it flaws but it's a one of a kind game
Is this right?

Got it as a gift, didn’t play it for long cause I was busy at the time but my favorite part was the party and the banter. Wish they’d make it backwards compatible for my Xbone.

One hour of confusion.
Six hours of fun enough combat.
Thirty three hours of your opinion of the game gradually worse and worse as you realize the game has no more tricks up its sleeve and most fights fall to the exact same strategy you can execute brainlessly. As well as noticing every single flaw with the underdeveloped systems in place (like how charge acceleration is the only stat that actually matters with gun customization)

This was pretty much my feeling exactly, well put.

>I'm posting here just to mark/report here that this game is intro.
>DigitalDude has tested this game today and it won't pass the opening movie after you press new game yet.
>Resonance of Fate probably going to be one of those games that are hard to emulate I guess, since it's a Tri Ace game.

oh well

I liked it a lot actually. Had a nice chill pace and the combat was fun casually since it never changes itself up drastically so you can just work with the rules it's set.

Nice music, hated the combat.

I made it to the final dungeon and just fucking gave up. I understood how to beat fights, it just wasn't fun.

Gun modding made me laugh though.

>since it never changes itself up drastically
except in chapter 11

Does this game require a lot grinding to be completed? Even a few bits of grinding are enough for me to stop playing a JRPG for a long period of time.

Just hit a wall in Lost Odyssey's third disc and haven'g played it in 2 weeks, which will surely extend. Even though I know it's gonna be no more than an hours grinding, the thought of it stops me in my tracks.

It requires grinding yes. I don't know of a lot though, perhaps not compared to some jrpgs.

But Lost Odyssey has systems in place to specifically dissuade you from grinding by reducing your exp gains to 1 per fight once you're at the "max" level for a zone

I enjoyed it.

That's what I mean. Even in games where grinding is nonessential to the point where the game actively tries to dissuade from doing it, the thought of grinding is still unappealling. If RoF requires grinding I'm not gonna enjoy it

Didnt pay much attention to the plot but the gameplay was fun as fuck

Holy shit. I've never seen a more appropriate PEG.

I think it's pretty comfy. The world, music, character interaction, and customization are all top notch. Really underrated gem like most people are saying in this game.

Wait is there a good ps3 emulator?

Game was fun enough when I played it but I don't really feel any reason to go back. The gameplay is pretty much unchanged from beginning to end and the story is pretty underwhelming. Worth trying out though, because it is definitely a unique experience.

Grinding can help but isn't really needed. Levels pretty much only boost your max health and carry wight. The thing is, each character can gain levels with all three weapon types so if you start to lag behind you can just swap everyones gear around and get a pretty big boost in level rather easily.

Hellish grind for cute dressup
