You know, there's just something about this Harvest Moon that the other ones couldn't capture. This has the most atmospheric world, beautiful seasons and music
You know, there's just something about this Harvest Moon that the other ones couldn't capture...
My favorite harvest moon is animal parade, there was something really fun and charming about that game, the only thing it needed to make it a 10/10 in my book was to add more content and a helper system other than your wife
My favorite Harvest Moon game is Stardew Valley.
I prefer HM64 by far, it has the best atmosphere out of any other HM game I've played. I think FMoT can't match that. HM64 has some surprisingly dark themes and despite how little they say, they have really interesting backgrounds. FMoT has way more content and portability though.
Also, did you know in the female version, the secret bachelors are... Kappa, Gourmet (the fat fuck who scared me when I saw him in HM64) and Won the cheapskate who won't give you a discount or show you any affection after you get married. Great job, Marvellous!
...you mean like back to nature?
>My favorite harvest moon is animal parade
good taste
Was it your first HM? I feel like anyone who played the games that came before it, before it, wouldn't feel this way.
I've been enjoying Trio of Towns quite a bit. Story of Seasons was kinda slow in comparison to other Harvest Moons but it at least had the neat trade depot gimmick. Trio of Towns is great with the amount of events and interactions with the people.
Elli>Ann>Maria>Popuri=Karen=Shit
Who are you chasing after, user?
Its also possible his first HM was BTN.
>posting the cucked version of the game
Rarely do people who played BtN before FoMT think FoMT is better. Even with the portability and gameplay additions/updates, most people find some of the charm was lost in the translation.
I wish they would release an updated BtN with the FoMT additions.
>Gameboy Advance
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Harvest Moon FoMT
Advance Wars
>10/10 games
Komari initially, but I'm doubting that choice because of Kasumi. Kasumi seems great.
You'd have to be mad to pick FoMT if you played BTN before it.
yeah karen was a fucking bitch
Excellent taste user.
Am I the only one whos favorite is magical melody? I almost never see that one discussed here
but this one is literally just the PS1 game without the graphics and less events
FoMT is the only Harvest Moon I've played and I loved it.
Is Back to nature really worth playing?
I enjoyed it immensely up until I freed the Harvest Goddess. Then I lost all drive to continue collecting notes/melodies since the goal was accomplished.
its pretty much the same game
You too user
Here have this one.
You're almost right user. Almost.
More Friends of Mineral Town
It would've been 10/10 except for the bell shit and the barn limit on types of animals
>here's all these great kinds of animals
>fuck you, you can only have like 6 types of them at once
If I were to start playing Harvest Moon, what one do I start with?
Nice
this
>harvest sprite can't harvest the middle crop
into the trash it goes, who's gonna fund my summer cottage, huh?
I have a soft spot for Magical Melody too, even though I recognize that it was lacking in a lot of ways. The seasonal music is insanely comfy.
...
FOMT/BTN (Same game), or HM64. 6th gen+ get much slower, so they're much more difficult to slog through in my opinion. Series should have stayed 2D.
friends of mineral town/more friends of mineral town if you like dudes or if you want to fuck a kappa or something
It's literally nostalgia, I feel the same way about the SNES Harvest Moon but I can accept that's my nostalgia
This thread is so civil it's obscene.
Harvest Moon / Rune Factory threads are maximum comfy. The Trio of Towns threads were great.
That tends to come with this kind of niche game
because Harvest moon doesnt have shitpost material, outside of waifu wars maybe
Did anyone play BtN before 64? I find it strangely difficult to imagine someone having the 64-to-BtN experience in reverse, with regards to the characters' personality and relationship changes.
I guess you haven't been around when Stardew Valley is mentioned or gets its own thread. Although it's mostly RF shitters livening the thread up in both cases.
I've played the shit out of BTN but still have yet to actually play 64. I have a general clue of what I'm in for, but still have just not quite gotten around to it.
>gotz raped karen
