GoW was and always be the casual mans Ninja Gaiden. While it isn't bad by any means I don't really think it brought anything new or exciting to the genre. Bayo on the other hand is really just a spiritual sequel to the DMC games while adding some new stuff to call it its own. That being said bayonetta feels more comfortable in its skin and GoW seems really fucking hard to be try and be really deeper then it really should be.
