The OST is fucking kino.

I've got 1:57 to the end as the alarm for my phone
>game finally has Skinwalkers in it
This part legitimately freaked me out, since I went into this game blind.
God, I missed it when games were surprising.
game looks like shit
it's the evolution of lazy indie pixel shit
Indie low poly shit
Erebus is kino

There's literally the crossbow from Heretic in it.

what soundtrack ISN'T pumped in this
Looks comfy to me desu
How am I only just finding out about this game now? It looks great.
what the actual fuck? i'm in the 90s again?
Redpill me on this game
It's a game that started out as a test-level in Unity and is being single-handedly developed by 1 man, with another guy composing it, and it's based on Quake, Doom, and Half Life, with other various references and homages thrown in for good measure.

But is it fun?
it's still in early access, but 2 episodes are fully done (10 maps per episode, +1 secret level for each episode)
this is my personal fav of episode 1
youtube.com
oh my fucking god, that god damn shit-ass FOV, didn't even realize
youtube.com
hell yea
I got this game on a whim and it is actually a genuine 90's FPS. it's not similar to, it is.
What are you doing, turn off texture filtering right now
Suspense, you fool! Not suspenders!
Best indie game with best OST comin through
DUSK is clearly meant to be played with filtering on due to the excessive use of angled textures and the textures themselves being of wildly varying scales, i.e. Quake 2 or Half-Life. Exact opposite of Quake 1's strict 1 texel to 1 map unit scale.
The Unseen level was actually pretty unnerving
Looks legit. I'll pick it up next paycheck, thanks user.
I'm not sure how much you consider Gggmanlives, but he just reviewed Episode 2 of it.
-pport the trusim that video gaming in the west is a colossal joke. Meanwhile based Glorious Nippon is pushing technology AND gameplay to the limit rather than having to cripple themselves in order to not be quicktime movies.

Review from an actual shooter vet. Turns out it doesn't quite live up to the hype.
The less people on PC, the less people to make your games.
Really? Because I can't name a single japanese game that's been more influential than Doom or The Elder Scrolls.
Why are weaboo's such soyboys?
>console exclusive current year
youtube.com
Is that why Japan, a place where virtually NO ONE plays on PC, is the only country making actual video fucking GAMES? Have you tried listening to yourself you dumb faggot?
Pic related, dumbwad.
>console exclusive 2015
Doesn't even look as good as a PC exclusive from 2007, desu
>pic related
Remind me again, what's the dominant perspective of the video games industry right now?
>making ACTUAL video games
Visual novels aren't video games.
Yahtzee thinks Painkiller is a good shooter, his opinion on such matters isn't worth anything.

Our boy here knows what's up.
>he's not meming
>he's actually serious
How does it feel that Call of duty WW2 out-sold Mario Odyssey and BOTW?
Watching this review reminded me why I stopped watching his reviews.
>Remind me again, what's the dominant perspective of the video games industry right now?
Third person over the shoulder, a style popularized by the Japanese pic related.
>Visual novels aren't video games.
And yet they still resemble them far more than almost any mainstream western release.
Because nips can't afford PCs you mong. They buy one console and then use it for a fucking decade. At best all they get is a laptop which they can only use for VNs and eroge.
Here was the first pic for that post btw.
>criticizing the level design
>unarguably the strongest thing about the game
HAHAAAAAAAAAA
Wow, congrats yahtzee, that's the quickest you've ever made me throw away your opinion on a game
And yes, I know it's you posting your schlocky review here, since you're the only one still watching your shit videos
>top selling games were Battlefront 2 and COD:WW2
Wrong again, soyboy
>And yet they still resemble them far more than almost any mainstream western release.
Okay soyboy, make sure to put extra soy sauce on your udon
rygar on ps2 did this
and rygar on ps2 sucked ass
Gameplay feels excellent, I'm mostly in it for the singleplayer and it feels like a mix of Blood and quake.
I also like that you can tailor how the game looks to an extent
>my co-
isnt it a new meme to complain about sony exclusives using jungles now?
maybe we should rethink the crysis-posting strategy, its been 11 years already
Exactly what I thought of too
dusk is pretty fucking good but I don't think it's worth that 20 usd price tag, at least in its current state
I got it for free lurking new blood's discord
>tfw Sony literally tried to copy crysis with this rancid pile of shit
How does it feel that
>Overwatch outsold Team Fortress 2
>Fallout 4 outsold Fallout: New Vegas
>Bioshock Infinite outsold System Shock 2
>Grand Theft Auto IV outsold Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
>The Last of Us outsold Metal Gear Solid 3
>Mortal Kombat outsold Street Fighter II
>New Super Mario Bros. Wii outsold Rayman Origins
>Batman Arkham Asylum outsold Devil May Cry
>etc. etc.
It's almost as if, wait for it, popularity often ISN'T correlated with quality, creativity or innovation!
>that shameless RLM reference at the end
Oh my fucking god
>Battlefront 2 and COD:WW2
don't even have the same viewpoint; first person is an option in BattlEAfront that most players op out for in favor of 's perspective.
im pretty sure it was supposed to copy halo
also at first while you had the drugs it was a fun little game imo
*tips trenchcoat*
>what's the dominant perspective?
>*posts pic representing the one most commonly used globally among AA(A) developers*, as per suggested by the phrase "dominant"
>no I mean what does the highest selling game of 2017 use I want to keep living in my weeb-free Reddit fantasy world!
>Overwatch outsold Team Fortress 2
TF2 is free to play.
>Fallout 4 outsold Fallout: New Vegas
New Vegas was a poorly made hodge-podge of ideas, and Fallout 4 was at least slightly better in terms of combat and world design.
>Bioshock Infinite outsold System Shock 2
Yes it did.
>Grand Theft Auto IV outsold Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
GTA4 had a far better story and more compelling characters and settings.
>The Last of Us outsold Metal Gear Solid 3
Never played it.
>Mortal Kombat outsold Street Fighter II
Maybe in the arcades, but certainly not in fucking home-console sales.
>New Super Mario Bros. Wii outsold Rayman Origins
Unfortunately.
>Batman Arkham Asylum outsold Devil May Cry
I thought Arkham Asylum was better anyway.
>popularity often ISN'T correlated with quality
Glad you can read
>Dominant perspective
Even still, the best Western releases often go unnoticed, where you even literally just admitted that Rayman Origins was better than New Super Mario Bros.
Why are you posting here?
>dominant perspective
>posts a goal
This is a new level of brainlet. The non-image reply.
Who's that dumb faggot? Some beta male who got cucked?
Unironically kill yourself if you think this.
