I wouldn't say it's the worse case since like others have already pointed out Elex exists, but regardless I found a gamebreaking bug in the first town about 15 minutes into my time with the game. So it's pretty Eurojank.

Elex is poorly optimized that basic movement is absolutely tedious

It's a shame because the game itself has an interesting world and very deep quests and choices actually matter. But the jank pretty much made me stop playing it, as did the weirdly convoluted level up system

Can people whove actually bought the game post their avg FPS, settings and hardware?

I want to give the game a shot but my PC is becoming old in the tooth and I'm curious as to what settings I might be able to run it at or wait until GPU prices go down and buy a new PC before getting it.

Well "Jank" in terms of video games describes game that feel wrong, they have really poor UI, controls, and terrible what people call 'game feel' or 'kinematics' games from anywhere can be Janky. Play any japanese game with first person shooting and you'll usually find some major Jank.

Europe though has this special breed of Jank that is beyond that of games found everywhere else. Europe makes games so Janky the "EuroJank" has become it's own monster. There is Jank, and then beyond that there is Eurojank.

Running an i7 950 with a GTX 770 and getting about 30-50fps on low settings on 1080 res, haven't really pushed to see the limits of what i could be running. Could probably run it all with the same results on medium and even high settings maybe at 1080 res. Bear in mind there are people with 1080's that are also getting the same results on a 2k resolution. I suspect that there are certain engine performance issues at the moment or people are setting the draw distance and texture pop in distance way too high, supposedly a performance patch is 2 weeks away. Ideally I'd like to be to getting 60fps but as long as the absolute minimum is 30 i can deal with it with my setup right now.

Expressions aren't my first language :^)

STALKER, Mount&Blade, Gothic - good games that needed that BIG FUCKING BUDGET to get nice character models, good UI, more testing, cutscenes, lipsync, voice acting, etc.

Nah, there are supposed to be 2 guards preventing further movement, but they go invisible if you are too close to them.
The bug is that you clip into them and their models are made invisible, not that you can't proceed.

40 fps on medium/low with a GTX 670 and i7 3770k. Refunded the game and will rebuy it once patches come out and I buy a new graphics card.

Elex is also translated god fucking awfully. My German is shit but even I noticed that subs are so fucking different from the original it's not even funny. Also the problem is all other localizations were done using the english one as a blueprint, so they are awful too.

So far I'm really enjoying it. It definitely is janky at times but so far I haven't ran into any major bugs.
Definitely not a game for everyone though.

I just tried the part where you dig the hole ( spoilers ) and theres this big cunt and he one shots you even if you are blocking, I have like 50% health to start with and no idea how to heal. I have managed to get a couple hits on him but I get the feeling they have made it so he is literally impossible to beat, literally its designed to piss the player off 10/10 game
