Base-game BOTW gameplay was amazing and the story was compelling. Graphics were beautiful and fights were fun. My only complaint is that fucking sorry excuse for DLC.

Most game would give you new areas to explore, new weapons, new bosses, new enemies. Nintendo dropped the ball on BOTW DLC but I guess that's why it's optional. I would have liked to seen more effort put into the DLC. Something like once you've beat Ganon people tell you about a different menace terrorizing another land or island so you journey there to save the people. Hell maybe something as simple as helping the residents of Hyrule rebuild. Was Sup Forums disappoint with BOTW DLC as well or am I just bitching for nothing?

Master Trials gave me hours of fun.
The Champions Balled offers an additional 8-10 hours of the best shrines, the best dungeon and best boss in the whole game.
Not including all the armour sets and never items which are enjoyable fluff.
Hardly earth shattering but still pretty good content for dlc.
If Nintendo had given an additional 40 hours of gamplay, 10 new dungeons and let you fuck Zelda people would still find a reason to shit on it.

The master trials were fun and the trial before the master cycle Divine Beast was but that's about it. Who the fuck genuinely enjoyed shrines? Wouldn't you rather have a new area to explore with some new enemies and bosses?

I love the game but Ganon was very disappointing.
So, finally tried CEMU, since everyone says its in a practical form.
Finally got the gaming running with some enhanced graphc packs, and an fps booster, running silky smooth.
The game honestly isn't that amazing. People were hyping it to be the best open world game ever made, kept seeing the same line parroted "This is the first REAL open world game!"
Aside from that, it is a good game. Biggest gripe is weapon durability. Who the fuck thought that was a good idea? I'd mod it out of it didn't make me feel like a cheating faggot.
Also, all these DLC armours, I guess I'm not supposed to touch this shit till around end of the game.
Collect all 12 emblems from the DLC shrines, then go to the giant Hylia statue in the forgotten temple.
Why do people keep mixing up "Master Mode" and "Trial of the Sword" into this "Master Trials" thing? It's never called that.
Those shrines don't give any emblems, only the four extra ones on the plateau do, which gives me 1 out of 3 missing heart containers
I agree. The DLC felt very pointless. The only things good about it were the extra cutscenes and the final boss. They should've just gave us a few more bossfights and some new weapons.

DLC pack 1 is the Master Trials (Master Mode + Trial fo the Sword). DLC2 is the Champion's Ballad.
DLC1 was good just for the Trial of the Sword. Honestly one of the best parts of the whole game.
DLC2 kind of sucked. I was desparately hoping that the extra dungeon wouldn't be another Divine Beast-style thing and of course it was. Boss fight, tiny bit of extra character building, and the Master Cycle were good though.
Smash was pretty overpriced and the balance went to shit on the last characters.
