I unironically love all these PS2 ports, since they enable me to have all my favourite games in one library (steam) and on PC they are guaranteed to have a longer lifespan thanks to mods etc.

Here's hoping MGS HD collection, Godhand and Ace Combat trilogy are next to get the rerelease treatment.

It was pretty damn broken. That Style Switcher mod guy managed to fix a lot the issues though to the point it was tolerable, hope he ports it to the HD collection.

These aren't remakes or remasters you queer, they're just the normal ass versions of the game but at higher resolutions and extra anti-aliasing.

There were but if it's like the original hd collection this one is just gonna use the PS2 versions for all the releases. Kinda silly they even have to rerelease the collection in the first place, but at least this time PC is getting it too.

At the very least people will need to fix Kalina Ann in this new collection. The official website for the new collection confirmed there'd be no gameplay changes/fixes from the PS360 collection. So Kalina Ann wont be able to grapple enemies until modders fix it. The PS4/Bone versions will be out of luck unfortunately

Eh, I remember the SC2 re-release adding having Hei and Spawn in the same version and fixing the 2g glitch for heihachi only. And Cervantes breaking the game on some of his moves.

Small changes can happen for whatever reason. Maybe the version they were working on isn't the one that went gold. Or maybe they are incompetent. Or they try to add a small fix that makes sense.

I didn't need them, I just did it to be a good little whale and support DMC.

If the franchise's future wasn't shaky I wouldn't have bought them. Though not having to unlock DMD or hunt for all those orb fragments was actually kind of nice.
