Riku for siding with literal darkness and then attacking his childhood friend in an act of betrayal.

Riku for letting his dick get to his head. Bitches don't like edgelords who wear skirts; he went in too deep. That's why Sora won in the end.

Sora for siding with two freaks he just met and then abandoning his childhood friends in an act of betrayal.

Goofy and Donald. Seeing that Sora is the most important party member for them, to fall behind and not lead the way is clear lack of strategy.

Kairi

>2018
>still playing kingpoop farts

This. How long does it take you to beat a damn game?

the devs for not letting you skip this cutscene.

I liked the first game more because no one really got along and when Sora loses the keyblade in Hollow Bastion wherever they're like "Welp fuck 'im I gues ahyuck"

Wait for the inevitable soy selfies when the game is out.

>kingpoop farts
And they said KH fans are the childish ones.

It's now skippable.

That part hurt when I was a kid. Betrayed by fucking everyone, including your weapon. Left to rot in a cell with a toy sword.

not back in the day. thanks to them, i can remember the entire converastion.

>in the wrong for defending herself against her lunatic friend by warning sora

kys tumblrwhale

Does kh story suck? Played up to 2 again in preparation for 3 and some things seem random and make no sense. Like why did we never see nobodies in kh 1? Apparently they are made after a person loses their heart, which starts to happen in KH 1.

>back in the day
i'm still getting over how this game is older than most of Sup Forums

yes

i stopped caring after DDD. its clear zipman makes shit as he goes along.

kh1 was fucking kino as fuck. Fastforward to KH3 and there's all these newer characters that I simply don't give a shit about. Wow, care about these keyblade masters who suffered before because it's a prequel to kh1! Wow, look at this faggot who's young xehanort, he's collaborating with not-soratus, and your favorite dead antihero axel is back but before we get to that let's cover the past history with faggot fuck eraqus covering the entire beginning of kh3 like we give a single shit. Oh hey, LE EPIC keyblade war amirite? Here's more fucking new worthless khux characters and this new one that dies immediately. Are you hyped yet???

Like the best thing for KH3 would be if all the characters since KH2 were killed off, and you have comfy island adventures again as the epilogue.

>friend

There's a reason why every single KH3 trailer has just been gameplay montages and hardly anything about the story.

>Apparently they are made after a person loses their heart
I thought it was when a person who turned into a heartless gets their heart back the old husk becomes a nobody.

When I person loses their Heart, if they were strong willed enough they'd leave a Nobody behind.

In terms of the lore, Nobodies have always been implied to be fairly rare and humanoid ones even moreso.

I'm surprised after making enemies based around no-heart and enemies around no-body that a type based around no-mind never appeared.

I'll never let you take Kairi's Heart

Like either had a choice when Xehanort was playing 5D chess across dimensions

Mind isn't really in the triad of what makes a person in KH in terms of the lore. It's Heart, Body, and Soul.

>no minds
>enemies are just Sup Forums posts

Can I skip BBS? I've read the plot synopsis, and I just can't be arsed doing the same worlds 3 times.

For real. My poor, 13 y/o self had to retry this fight dozens and dozens of times, and far too much time was spent just watching this damn cutscene

Then why didn't a missing soul enemy appear? And the fuck is the difference between heart and soul?

Alright that makes a bit more sense. Can you explain Xion? If two people like eachother enough does a entity come out? She's not a nobody or a heartless, she just kinda came from sora's memories of kairi.

NO WAY

Because in KH lore, without a Soul you'll actually die. Not that shit where everyone mistakes becoming a Nobody or Heartless for death but legitimately die. That's why there's not a missing soul enemy.

And before someone posts that interview where Nomura says that there's no death in KH, he's referring to the fact that none of the characters he lists have died.

The soul is pretty much the battery for the body, the heart is what a soul be in other media.
Xion is a Replica made by Vexen from data obtained from the Sora/Kairi fuckery you mentioned.

yes, it's simply not worth it if you get the major ways it connects to the other games

It's obviously being made up as it goes along. There is some sort of rough plan, but it's truncated and stretched endlessly through spin-offs.

More like it's been planned in chucks. KH1 is the one that really doesn't fit anymore because they didn't think a sequel was gonna happen. Then Nomura said that he planned Days, Birth by Sleep, and coded together.

so what is Kingdom Hearts, really?
Light?
A way to give hearts to nobodies?
Used to forge the χ-blade?
Is it just whatever you claim it to be, so if Winnie the Pooh came along and claimed it was a lifetime supply of hunny, it would turn into that?

We don't know. Supposedly we'll find out for sure in 3.

We do know that Xehanort wants to recreate the conditions of the Keyblade War to forge the X-blade in order to open KH and remake the universe in his vision of "balance".

the black box is kingdom hearts

No Xion is just a clone of Sora's that was made to steal his memories

>Winnie the Pooh came along and claimed it was a lifetime supply of hunny, it would turn into that?
God you have no idea how much I want this to be the ending now.

Nobody knows. And the fact that nobody knows is literally the driving motivation for the series' main antagonist.

HOW DID I LIVE

KH1, KH2 and CoM are the only games that didn't ruin the overall story
everything else was just convoluted for the sake of it, but just playing those three games the plot is fine albeit crazy

this fight is surprisingly easy if you mash guard

Reminder that Axel tried to murder his "best friend" to save his own skin.

Reminder that Axel's real name is Lea and his friend is Isa, the gayest names ever.

THERE IS NO WAY I'LL LET YOU TAKE KAIRI'S HEART

>the gayest names ever
Look who's talking Kevin

>Trusts a green-skinned, devil-horns-having witch over his best friend
Gee, I wonder...

Isn't Isa the name of Jesus in Islam?

Well which is it, DAMN.

I thought 3D was fine, albeit an aside. I actually got pretty excited when I saw a dream eater in the 3 trailer.

CoM and KH2 ruined it enough.

Do you mean the thing with Roxas?
Literally every time he fights you he's just trying to beat you unconscious and take you back to the Org.

All three of them were retarded, but Riku takes the cake for letting himself get swallowed by darkness instead of helping his friend back on destiny island.
>Sora is visibly struggling.
>Just stands there with a hand outstretched.
If Riku had literally taken one step forward the Keyblade would have gone to him as intended instead of Sora.

No, the last time they fight he was specifically ordered to kill Roxas.

IN A KINGDOM OF FEAR

Sora for his "power of friendship" bullshit

How can anyone be satisfied with the reveal of Kingdom Hearts? Like what could there possibly be that would make people go "whoaa" instead of "oh, lame". Basically everything has already been done.

It can't be done.
Even if Square were capable of developing a good in-house project it'd be next to impossible to pull off, and look at Square's track record for the past console generation. Pure shit. I'm amazed anyone can even be hype for KH3 anymore considering the absolute crap that Square has been shitting out for the past several years. Same goes for the FF7 remake. Long dev cycle with Nomura on the lead means it's got the same warning signs as the other disappointments, too.

Kingdom Hearts is the journey that everyone took to find it.

Is there any place, video or otherwise, that explains what the fuck is going on anymore?

I only played original 1 and 2, nothing of the FM, HD remakes, -half games or the portable shits.

Yeah, the games. You should try playing them instead of demanding the story be spoonfed to you.

Reminder that Riku was prepared to go to any lengths to save Kairi meanwhile Sora was off adventuring with a cartoon duck and a retarded dog and just happened to stumble upon her.

I KNOW NOW

WITHOUT A DOUBT

THAT KINGDOM HEARTS

IS LIGHT

>off adventuring
That's a funny way of saying stripped from his home world and put into a new situation where his only option was to join with a rag tag pair of companions who were willing to help him find his way home. And using him because he was chosen.

Just watched the cutscene and you're right, although i think by that point it was a "He doesn't remember me so fuck it" situation.

>Travel to different worlds.
>Even inside computers.
>Still haven't done the one thing that usually accompanies this.
Kingdom hearts is going to be the door to our world and the game ends with an FMV of Nomura in Xehanort cosplay.:^)

Reminder that Riku literally left Sora and Kairi to die during the apocalypse and won the Terra award for trusting Maleficent.

>childhood friend
you mean the one who steal his girl?

>Riku was prepared to go to any lengths to save Kairi
Well he damn well should considering he was the one who put her in danger in the first place.

I love the series but I'm totally gonna start calling it that now.

>Nomura in Xehanort cosplay
No need

YOU DENY YOUR WEAPON IT'S PURPOSE

Damn right. Better hope you're able to beat riku on the first try cause otherwise you're gonna be watching that long cutscene over and over and over until you wish sora would just say fuck it take the bitch's heart.

inb4 KH3 pulls a Danganronpa V3

How? The heartless attacked his world, and he escaped before it got consumed but got seperated from everyone. He had no gummi ship or any means of inter-world travel, and lacking a keyblade meant he had no way of protecting himself. so had to rely on a tenuous alliance with maleficent as his only hope to be able to find her and fend off the heartless while he searched. He finally finds her but she's comatose, and eventually Sora rolls up by complete accident and he finds out Sora has put saving Kairi on the backburner in favour of solving the problems with other worlds because he's the SUPER SPECIAL CHOSEN ONE WIELDER OF THE KEYBLADE.

Riku was an idiot for getting lured to the dark side of the force but his intentions in KH1 were arguably more admirable than Sora's.

sora

>kingpoop farts
kek

tfw i´m the smart kid who calculated exactly how long the scene lasted and watched TV while

Jesus fucking christ i was shitposting with that but the madman might actually do it.

>They meet up in traverse town.
>Donald calls Riku a faggot.
>Riku disappears.
>Sora is annoyed but verbally states that he's glad to know Riku is fine and can focus on Kairi.
>Later on Riku literally looks through a window at Sora talking with some other guys and concludes that Sora doesn't give a shit about him and kairi anymore.

Absolutely not, it's the second best game in the entire series.

COME GUARDIAN

what was you're favourite fight in the series, Sup Forums?

youtube.com/watch?v=W1P4Z7HimuU

I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who cheesed roxas with limit form. It's such a fun fight and you're really ruining it for yourself if you do that.

Didn't the heartless only raid the island because Riku was having dream talks with Ansem? Like yeah, they'd have gone eventually but Riku and his dipshit wanderlust basically flashed a huge sign saying "hey, fuck my friends and family come destroy this stupid rock and kidnap their hearts".

>His girl
Dude never had a chance

did you rike it?

youtube.com/watch?v=MPBMQmHxy8c

youtube.com/watch?v=qxkDVOBCIH4

>mfw roxas loses to sora because he doesnt know keyblades can be teleported back to the wielder

Still haven't found a final boss battle as hype as this one

The Final Fight was disappointing. Most of the 13 guys gave me more trouble than Xemnas did.

Xaldin, Xigbar, and Roxas were all infinitely harder than Xemnas. Xemnas was mostly QTE shit and then attacking a man sat on a chair who occasionally swings a sword.

iirc hardest xemnas fight is either link related or the Data fight
youtube.com/watch?v=84jcanELAWE

Why is that surprising?

Roxas has only ever had the keyblades show up when he needs them and not of his own volition, and when he fights against Riku its explicitly shown he doesnt know how to retrieve them after they get taken by another keyblade wielder.

Ive seen a few people say that scene was bullshit but I swear you just need to pay a little bit of attention and it becomes clear that even after regaining his full memories Roxas's knowledge of how to operate a keyblade is extremely limited.

Data Xemnas is a million times harder than KH1 Xemnas. None of the superbosses in KH1 are remotely difficult in Final Mix because Leaf Bracer completely breaks the balance of the game.

if Roxas already became a part of Sora when he woke up in Twilight Town how did he materialize again and fight Sora in the world that never was?

I think the battle took place in his heart.

oh yeah you're right but Roxas was just walking around in the alleyways when you confront him

alleyways of his heart
