I don't like nor I hate RE0, it's a solid game that doesn't excel at anything, but isn't too bad at anything else either (except the hookshot, fuck that thing). call this a fault of mine, but I only think that REmake is shit when being compared to RE1. on its' own, I think it's solid enough to be better than RE0

I forgot to mention what I mean by that. RE2 and CV shower you with ammo and health, meaning you could easily kill all monsters by just using firearms alone. RE3 Arrange/American Hard still has you caring about ammo and health management if you proceed to kill every optional Nemesis encounter, making you use the knife if you'd attempt to kill absolutely everything in your path

Honestly, I had far more ammo problems in CV than in RE3. I think you're seriously underestimating how broken the ammo crafting system in 3 is. Also, keep in mind that most of the Nemesis fights are optional, and while they're fun, I doubt most people do all of them. It's almost impossible to run out of ammo in RE3 if you skip a few. RE3 is also the only RE game where I've had an insane amount of magnum ammo by the end. I mean don't get me wrong, RE3 is still a good game, but acting like it's some hardcore survival horror game while mostly everything else is action shit, is pretty delusional. I think most RE games outside of 1/REmake and 0 could be classified as action games.
