I prefer FemShep's voice. MaleShep is too... soft? Paragon for MaleShep, Renegade for FemShep is what I always thought.

Male Shepard has much better voice acting (especailly in 2 and 3) and his default face model is the best you can do with the character creator

I used to play an edited version of FemShep because I liked the voice actress a lote more than the guy's. Only RPG in which I LARPed as the other gender, though.

Renegade male sounds far better than fem Shep. Hale is way too over the top as a villain. Sounds like a bad Saturday morning cartoon villain. But Meer sounds too bland as a paragon.

Male shep is objectively the better performance. His actor also does a bunch of other roles in the game but you can't tell because he actually has range.

You just need to look at any of Shep's one-liners to see how much better the male version is, just off the top of my head, these ones are great examples

Just compare the male and female version, where the latter comes off incredibly try-hard and forced. Like your mother quoting James Bond whilst drunk.

Meer is better purely because you can choose dialogue options freely without Shepard sounding like he has massive mood swings

The original male Shepard is just iconic. So I'm gonna go with that.
