I heal when I'm feeling lazy. It's one of the easiest jobs in any game, so I basically get to do fuckall and still contribute.

I don't play one but there's games where a good healer can make the difference and it's the role for people with more technical skill.

I used to, but then - I don't know what happened - everyone started playing healers. In terms of trinity, rarity used to be tanks >= healers >>> dps, but now it's tanks >>>>>>>> healers >> dps.

I've played three MMOs in the past few years and it was the case in each. Healing is no longer special or considered drudge work. It's almost as much as the default as DPS

in my experiences, tanks are generally betas with power fantasies and the type of pseuds to take up programming in their late 20s and never become decent, due to dwindling neuroplasticity. healers are either neurotic or bros, with the former coming from broken households so they try to feel as useful as possible. dps are the biggest chads, with some of them being genuine sociopaths. "supports" are snowflakes
