yes, I loved it, but take in mind that it's requires quite the time investment

personally, i found it incredibly boring. maybe it's good if you're younger and still in school and can relate to the mundane shit you have to read.

It's a good price since the game is usually extremely overpriced, but the anime is the superior version, with it being animated instead of static backgrounds and avatars with limited facial expressions. The visual novel is also extremely long (People used to meme it being 300 hours long if you played through the whole game without skipping already read dialogue). The story is full of dumb drama and cry porn and chances are that you won't like it if you are over 20.

I've been thinking about grabbing Darkest Dungeon for awhile. Should I get it and the two DLCs for it or just the base game and some other RPG? I've been wanting to play a good RPG for awhile now.

Is Divinity any good or it is just a meme?

It's good. You can dual wield lots of weapons and pulling people's skulls out of their asshole never gets old. It's very story focused but the story and characters are good.
My biggest problems with the game where the small FOV, the short duration and the ending is a cliffhanger and there's no sequel
There's also some co-op campaigns but they suck.

Played Thief Gold too, it's ok, wasn't in love with it. But then again I played Deadly Shadows first and liked that one too so maybe I just have wacky opinions as far as Thief games go

Thief 2 is much better than the first, in my opinion. Arx Fatalis is a little rough around the edges, but it's pure brilliance in my eyes. Could always go with DOOM classic. Despite being one of the first FPS games it still is extremely solid, with great level design and tight action.

What about System Shock 1 and 2?

I got Arx Fatalis for free when I preordered Dishonored this was years ago, I had a wacky bug where all the dialogue would auto skip so I couldn't read any of it.
I'll try and check if there's some easy fix, the magic system seemed neat with the symbol drawing stuff

The new wishlist blows. It needed an overhaul, but now we finally have one after like ten years and it sucks. All this time and it's a giant rectangle of empty space taking up your entire middle 1/3 of the screen while the left and right sides are still blank. They'll just leave it like this for another ten years, too. Valve never tweaks shit ever, it's always left alone or an overhaul.

It's not necesary to play 1 in order to understand 2 but System Shock 1 is great, it plays more like Ultima Underworld than a first person shooter though but the Enhanced Edition comes with mouse look integrated.
You don't need mods in order to play System Shock 2, marine is the easiest one for a new player, standard weapons can deal with pretty much anything. Invest early on hacking and maintenance

It's not a meme, VNs as a whole have little/no gameplay and typically dont have anything to make up for it. They're the only genre that I can look at and genuinely think "how can anyone actually like this"
