So you're asking, why do I release Skyrim multiple times? Well, my motives are.... complex

So you're asking, why do I release Skyrim multiple times? Well, my motives are.... complex.

hey guy i freaking love skyrim!!

What the fuck, I just navigated to my steam and bought skyrim special edition without even meaning to, it's like someone mind hacked me

Why did ZTD create so many great memes and OC on Sup Forums? Has it been matched since?

Same, but with Fallout 4, wtf

Because the disappointment it caused was so massive that the only way to help was to mask the disappointment with memes

This is my power. The power to wallet hack

>a single, solitary MEGA link killed 6 billion people
Life is simply unfair, don't you think?

>Nujack starts getting posted
>literally no frogs or wojack in the catalog
Doing gods work user.

...

faggot
made me laugh

Not sure why people sperg out about Skyrim and Fallout 3-4 I actually enjoyed them, but that's just my experience on PC, I'm sure someone on console had a very different experience in those games then I did.

I think it's just a contrarian thing to dislike these games now but I know whenever Elder Scrolls 6 drops people here will be dropping their painties for another Elder Scrolls game.

I don't say it often but I'm actually excited for Elder Scrolls 6, the way they've alluded to it so far makes me hopeful they're doing something innovative with current tech to make the experience more immersive.

>tfw can't shift to a history where Skyrim was never created

>tfw no New Vegas 2 timeline

Seven years ago, a game was released. As a result, after releasing the legendary edition, Todd re-released the special edition. A release came for the ps4, along with the Xbox one. The Nintendo fans who awaited a critical release also got one. Six re-releases altogether. Why did these six release? Because of a game. A single, solitary game took the money of six releases. No, not just six... but six billion. Six billion realeases will come as a result of that lone game. Life is simply unfair, don't you think?

Android when?

Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

When you have one good game and one game that's literally just an ad and the game they built up for nearly a decade looks like complete ass and has a horrific story, memes are going to happen.

Like god damn. I'd be surprised if complex motives DIDN'T become a meme, you had to wade through like 20 fucking hours of Digipen level animations and Tales level writing to get there.

>Bethesda
>Innovative

????

Todd playing Spider Jerusalem when?

Threadly reminder, 999 a best, VLR a shit, ZTD a meme.

Fun times on Sup Forums.

>mom...

because it's literally handwaving away absolutely terrible writing with nothing at all

post ztd/ze menes

Bethesda are one of very few companies that so actively put their support behind modding. The gamebyro engine which is Todd Howards baby got the nomenclature at Bethesda as the "Creation Engine" because the motive of Bethesda with Elder Scrolls and Fallout is very obvious, they want to not only give you these sprawling worlds which you can actively participate and be a apart of but they give you the tools to actively change things about the world that you want, it's a very different approach to game design when you're designing your game engine around people modifying it.

You also look at things with Doom, the use of Vulkan and DX12 low level API solutions and adoptions in a lot of their newer titles, they were straight on board with getting kinect integration into a game they had already pushed out the doors, they're trying to push initiatives to get more people interested for VR, Bethesda is one of few AAA companies putting their weight behind VR with the release of Skyrim VR and Fallout 4 VR.

I think you're just being disgenious by implying that they've not been innovative in how they not only market their games but design them.

...

What about TWO CARLOS?
Did I skipped Uchikoshi QA or something?

>The gamebyro engine
>when you're designing your game engine around people modifying it.
they didn't make gamebryo and they aren't even using it anymore
lol

A good brother knows his sister needs two big brothers to grow strong.

It's an older meme, but it checks out.

DAMN TODD, STOP BULLSHITTING ME

...

>tfw I remember copy that as if it was yesterday

Man I miss those days.

>seven years ago
it's weird that the rate of game releases (and every other event of interest) is slowing down while my perception of time speeds up. really makes it all feel empty.

next elder scrolls in 60 years' time

...

...

But I didn't imply they had made the engine, I simply stated that it's Todd Howards baby, lets be honest there isn't another series that is as well known as the Elder Scrolls series or Fallout that uses the GameByro engine.

Also how're you sure..? Skyrim Special Edition uses GameByro 4.0 rev and Oldrim runs on an older revision of GameByro they literally had to remaster the game to use a newer revision of the GameByro engine so they can get multi-threading, DX11 support, 4GB memory limited exceeded and 64bit client, so they're obviously still using the GameByro engine.

You're infected with Radical 6, TES VI already released man, your brain can't keep up

>user gets infected by radical-6

When will he learn?

I'm going to buy Fallout New Vegas again
Haha!
