If you're still playing this game, you're most definitely new and you have no clue on what's going on.

Valve is making this game casual to attract more new players, and sell more cosmetic items.

I had over 100 friends. All in the 4.5-5.7k bracket playing the game NON-STOP. They would watch every tournament, they would even sign up for open qualifiers. They were hardcore players, like me.

About 2 years ago, I noticed that some of them were starting to play other games and I would rarely see them in Dota 2.

Fast forward to now.

I have maybe 4-5 of those 100 friends that are still playing the game.

Can you imagine?

None wants to play this shit anymore.

I didn't spend entire days practicing farm efficiency, only to see new players get the same GPM and XPM as me, just by being afk and picking bounty runes.

Fuck that shit.

What made Dota 2 good, was that you actually had to learn how to play. And the satisfaction of achievement was what attracted us.
