Why is there when there's swords in a game, a katana is usually the best weapon? Are game devs secret weebs?

Name one western game
Games with katanas in are usually made in Japan. So NIPPON BANZAI etc.
Katanas in western games are usually useless meme weapons.
BOTW has several katana. All of them are mid-game kit. The best weapons in the game are all western style.
I cannot think of a single game where that is the case off of the top of my head.
Me either. I know in one of the Final Fantasies the katana is the strongest weapon in the game, but only if you throw it.
FIFA 18
Wasn't it the best melee weapon in VtMB?
>Secret
L4D2
Katana’s are meant for the perfect transfer of energy into a decapitation, so it is the best weapon if head choppin is your goal, desu.
yes
that's eastern
nobody from the west gives a shit about soccer
Just use an axe.
Morrowind and Obilvion.
Yurop is western of Japan, so it counts as western according to everyone, also, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina are OBSESSED with football.
Fable series. Katanas are the best except for unique weapons. In Fable 2, the best weapon actually was a katana.
Weird how absurdly easy Daichi was to obtain as well.
Yasuo from League of Legends
Strongest weapon in the original Final Fantasy is a katana that everyone can use.
the katana has some reach to it with the speed, but the machete is faster and can help you out of a swarm much better so that's pretty debatable
>Yasuo
>Strong
Doesn't the Katana have more hit rays
>North America is the only continent in the world that doesn't give a shit about football
>literally in THE WORLD
Imagine actually thinking this
