We can all agree that vr isn't still capable of deliver what is intended to do?

we can all agree that vr isn't still capable of deliver what is intended to do?

why isn't the vive 2 out yet. I thought this shit would evolve fast like smartphones but it fucking stopped dead in its tracks after the CV release of rift/vive. Back in the kickstarters days you'd hear some new stuff about vr each week/month.

iirc the Pro is coming out like Q4 or Q1 next year. This is a technology that has been tried and failed with tons of companies for about 20 years, it's not really something they want to throw money and research at just yet.

VR won't be ready until there can be a perfect recreation of my waifu having a bowel movement on my face.

VR is still a thing?

The porn is still good tho

pretty much on lifesupport

Purchased a Samsung WMR headset 2 weeks ago and refunded it. It was a nice experience and i really enjoyed it, but it isn't worth it right now.
FOV and resolution are too low to get really immersed. The lack of good games also plays it's part. Most games have bad graphics and are shovelware tier.
I'll give it another 2-3 years till it's finally worth it.
Watching porn on it was great though.

Why aren't more games ported or modified to have VR support? The main problem is there's not enough games. All they have are tech demos or shitty indie games that are fun for like 5 minutes.

Why would anyone want a screen 2 inches away from their face when you can play on a TV?

Are you guys really that desperate to go blind?

Psvr is 200 atm but still not enough to make me want it

I'm loving the ignorance in this thread. So easy to tell which of the posters haven't used a Rift or a Vive.

I literally own every single VR headset on the maret please fucking RESEARCH before you post you fucking retarded soyboi cuck kys

PSVR gonna go from $200 if anyone has been holding off from buying one, from Feb 18 till March 3.

What is the point of """"VR""""? It's pretty much just strapping a monitor to your face. No new or defining experiences have came from it. There is literally not one VR game that is a must own.

Why’s that? They don’t believe VRchat is the future of human interaction?

It's more like strapping a window toward another world than a monitor. You're discarding the whole 3D/focal point aspect.

Was thinking about buying one for ace combat and dreams. 200 is about the maximum I’ll spend though. Does that include the controllers and camera?

>No multiplayer game with motion controllers that has collisions with other players
>ywn be able to lift your enemies by the neck

Capable, yes. The tech demos prove this well enough.

Thing is, it still doesn't deliver "what was intended" because freaking no one has made a goddamn thing for it and the ones that have only made very short, very overpriced shovelware for it. VR suffered the same exact fate every time it has tried to go public for the past 60 damn years. Still, no one does anything differently yet they somehow expect there to be a different outcome. Something like VR can never have widespread use if it's not affordable.

>still
It will never be.

>gets microtransactions up the ass
pay $19.99 to continue choking bitches

What exactly does meme mean in this context?
