Sure, getting PVP kills revolve around people consenting to combatting each other, or catching someone who wasn't paying attention.

The PvP is ok. Eve has a really good rock paper scissors thing going on with a lot of their modules and ships (Afterburner/MWD vs Disruptor/Scram for example) that makes fitting your ship to catch specific prey pretty interesting. Yeah the basic mechanics of the game are just interacting with shit through menus but it's the only game in town if you want a space MMO where you can capture territory and have big fleet battles.

Star Citizen is never going to come out and if it does it will be rushed and total shit so don't hold out hope for that either.

People get good fights in eve every day. It's not easy like queuing for a BG in WoW but you can find prey if you're actually decent at the game. Join a FW corp and fly in small gangs of 5-10 people, you'll find fights in minutes.

I fleets could help. But the combat is still not very engaging. I know there's more advanced piloting, but there isn't much you do during combat.
