How's that channel coming along, Sup Forumsros?
How's that channel coming along, Sup Forumsros?
not bad, im about to stream slime rancher in about half an hour
Is it impossible to succeed in YouTube now that there are thousands of channels?
>posted a video of a Consular/Watchman build wrecking Kreia's shit on the KOTOR subreddit
>got downvoted to oblivion as well as a single dislike because "muh spoiler tags" even though that wasn't a problem last time
Should I just stop making videos?
define succeed
video in question
>1 thumb down
Wow, it's fucking nothing
>look for videos on game im playing right now
>find the perfect video
>made by a gamer streamer
>has all of his videos have has been doing this for years
i almost feel bad.
>crying wojack
>smug pepe youtube pic
you should stop breathing
B-but seeing smug Pepes and sad Wojacks always brings a smile to my face T_T
I have a successful tekken channel
I just make shitty meme videos I make on Impulse. I made one a few days ago and it reached 1000 views. I don't ever see it getting any publicity since it's just low level tier videos since my computer sounds like a jet engine ready to take off when I ever try to render shit in sony vegas but it's enjoyable. Sadly I'm only able to do around a minute long videos now if I want to render them in good quality. You see my cpu seems to jumping in temperature which is strange since it's new but this causes my cpu fan to reach 5500RPM and my GPU then reaches a bit higher in temperature also.
If this wasn't the case and with all this spare time being a NEET, I'd probably do a video a day but it's a double edged sword and with being a NEET and all I'm unable to purchase a better GPU or CPU.
It's not impossible or if you do specific things
I was gifted a DSLR and I kinda want to try making videos but I have no experience in anything. I also have horrible anxiety that stops me from even starting anything so I just use the camera to take photos of my dog. I also barely know how to use it.
>look up stuff for ninja gaiden black
>there is a channel with 800 subs and about 1k views per video of a guy absolutely destroying ninja gaiden
>also a bunch of explanation videos in which he goes into detail on every weapon and every boss
>these get about 500 views
You deserve better, you seem pretty knowledgeable about the KOTOR games.
Those guys deserve better as well.
I make fun parodies of the Life is Strange games. I get some neat views from them., but I'd really like to move onto something else. A lot of attempts I've made to break away from it just haven't gotten the views. What do I do Sup Forums?
>Get a great idea for a joke
>Don't follow it through and half-ass it with few in-game cuscene recordings I have on my hands
>Miss an opportunity to include modded assets
Got 10k views because I posted video in question a few times in game-relevant threads and that was it. I'm making $150 per 2 months from licensed music track that is not mine, though.
I evened out your like/dislike ratio.
Now answer me this: would that game be playable on a phone? It's cheap off of the app store.
>What do I do Sup Forums?
Build your subscriber count enough that they can kickstart any video you upload into relevant videos tab. That's gotta be at least 15k non-bot people from which only 1/10th will view your video.
Copy this guy he gets a ton of views:
Seeing how these threads are rare someone made a discord for it discord.gg
Good! MGS2 vid is at like 95%
I'm a perfectionist though and I spend too long on bonus things nobody actually watches/cares about.
You have to be capitalize on what's marketable, or let's say, the freshest thing on youtube. Gaming is pretty much dead, and only profitable if you've already established a name for yourself when let's plays were still pretty big.
KOTOR is completely playable on mobile. It even includes the Yavin Station DLC.
KOTOR 2 doesn't have a mobile version as of yet and it seems Aspyr doesn't plan to port it.
Thanks. I like your first video.
YouTube is not video games. Why can't Hiro make /eceleb/ already?
So gaming youtubers talking about gaming and someone whos into gaming posting that gaming video to a gaming forum is not gaming. Understood.
What did you expect from reddit? That's what you get for going on that shithole, also change your retarded youtube channel picture, you seem like a full autismo. still gave you a like because you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about the kotor games and the gameplay was ok, those games deserve more love
He's not autism. Just Russian, I think.
Thank you, bros.
Actually, I'm half Bulgarian and half Armenian.
It amazes me how so many people know their native tongue but also English. I can barely speak English correctly even though I was raised here.
You faggots should be protected from the world.
is armenian genocide real or fake
well he's still around so I guess it was fake
Not unless somebody already big consistently shills for you or you have such a unique and entertaining gimmick that you organically attract a brand new audience.
Yes, it was. Bulgarians were also murdered systematically during the Ottoman Empire's reign but in a more extended timespan as well as many other Balkan peoples.
Sad wojak funny faces is always interesting to watch
I haven't bought that Battlefield expansion, yet. Is it any good?
Terrible , people don't sub enough , hard to get views , reddit is garbage for promotion , twitter barely works , I don't relate at all to the popular youtubers and can't understand their fans loyalty and basically I just don't "get" youtube or their viewers, and now I got dismissed along with everyone else off the partner program so my pennies are gone. Youtube currently sucks.
I'm hoping Twitch is a better experience.
well.. are you an interesting person? Do you have a chill voice? Are you funny? Clever? Do you have good sense for editing? Do you research things will, can you put them in an interesting format? And so on and so on. There is always a market for interesting people.
They could be plain boring on the outside, but compensate with their other attributes, be it someone who does shitty funny darksouls/overwatch meme edits, or someone who analyses philosophy in anime or games or whatever. If you are driven, you can make it possible, without the need to actively thoth around anyone.
every talentless shit-personality hack/whore who wants to play games for a "living", is on twitch though. Decide for yourself
The flipside is go niche as fuck. Turns out Doom Mods were a good pick.
I want to give a shout out to Storm Dain Productions, he's been doing Youtube for 10 years has 9k subs and his most popular video has less than 100k views.
It's slow for sure. I mostly do it as a way to have fun playing games again and editing the videos gives me something to do. Anyone who thinks gaming on youtube is a get rich quick scheme is retarded.
Fuck off you retarded redditors, you aren't gonna be the next pewdiepie.
>you aren't gonna be the next pewdiepie.
Fuck and I even bought the hair dye. Back to mcdonalds it is I guess.
Here is my channel
I do let's plays of obscure games that are weird or spooky, along with other stuff like Yume Nikki fangames and Worlds.com exploration.
Here's a video
Not so well, not so well...
Hey, why aren't you in the Wet Gamin Discord? Did magicdweedoo send you an invite?
Nope. I can't really check my discord anyway, too busy avoiding impending war.
I got extremely lucky and recived a boost in subs and views with a bunch of Vr videos.
Currently I’m getting hate on email due to my Metal Gear Survive vid lol.
Alright, fair enough. iamqqqqqqq was wondering and so was I why you weren't there. Also, what war?
War against the Turks.
I have been drafted.
Oh shit, sorry to hear about that. Hope things work out for you.
gf wants to start streaming vidya, helping her with setting up that.
Thinking about getting a capture card so she can stream Siege and Injustice 2 as well as those VNs she likes.
Pretty well, just finished a video I have been working on for a while and am very proud of it. Hopefully it gets some views but we will see.
Not many people stop by, but every now and then someone goes on a viewing spree and watches a lot of stuff at once.
