Man I love that game. The voice lines when you friendly fire Mantel soldiers are perfection.

First time I have ever seen someone claim to like this game.

timeshift was better and hazefags will always deny

>Man i love that game.

there's always a contrarian in every fucking thread

>hazefags

Must be the smallest community of fans in existence.

>he missed the turok vs hazefag wars of 08

Well the boosh brothers were great at least. For the short duration they were alive anyway.

I loved timeshift back when it came out, I even have a physical copy

They told me this would contend with Halo. About a decade later, it's clear I was lied to.

Pepsodent tube is Sony product?

yes, this actually happened

>Not remembering how Haze was going to kill Halo in 2008

Forced SIXAXIS bullshit?

In the end Halo killed itself with changing staffs and series direction.

I fucking hated Killzone 2 for this, you can't arm bombs without the useless 60 dollaridos sixaxis. And so you're stuck in the campaign.

Fuck you Killzone 2.
At least the multiplayer was goty like uncharted 2

Its going to be taken offline sadly next month along with KZ3.

>haze killed any chance of another timesplitters sequel

Goodnight sweet prince...

I don't have any PS3 anymore so why am I feeling so stupidily sad right now?

Shotgun engineer in this game was great.

Why did you get rid of your PS3?

The games have mostly been dead for awhile now anyways but it is still sad. KZ2 was so fun in its prime years. Some of the best moments used to always come when a tactician on both teams would place the spawn grenades in specific locations and then it would be chaos with grenades flying everywhere. Usually happened when you had to place the bombs.

I also liked it.

then the game came out and now we're in the present. funny how that worked out

Nostalgia. The things we once liked are old and starting to disappear or become defunct. I felt the same way when Nintendo killed the servers for OG Nintendo Wi-fi

I don't even know what happened to my PS3, I started working and moved on I guess.
I can remember what happened to my ps1/PS2, but my PS3? It's a fucking mistery.

i loved those forgotten FPS games like Haze, Turok and Timeshift. say all you want, but they all had great multiplayer

That fucking cutscene where the villain is laying it out and drops it hard, then in the fucking background, in a window of a busted up church building, they come in to view and BOOSH, and then right back out again.

Honestly, one of the funniest moments in video games.

>Resistance 2

>that fucking Co-op
easily the best in the series. it also had a 30 vs 30 which is fucking impressive back then

Sony is the land of forgotten shooter franchises.

>haze
>resistance
>killzone
>socom
>starhawk
>warhawk
>mag

I mean shit Sony. Goddamn...

i wouldn't call killzone forgotten per say, but everything else i agree

I moved to PC for team fortress 2 but Jesus, PS3 multiplayer fps were comfy

MAG was fucking incredible, and a blast to play.

The reason it failed was because they nerfed the shit out of the weapons trying to listen to people who fucking sucked at the game, so instead of shotguns being viable in a massive arena combat game, they make it so they have the range they do in Call of Duty, and turned the game into assault rifle city.

Then when the numbers drop because they made the game unfun to play anymore, there's barely enough people to sustain one instance because you need 256 online at the same time to start just ONE match. So basically no one plays the game, it can't sustain itself, and Zipper basically gets put on death row by Sony.

Such a bad fuck-up. That game could have kept going if they didn't make such a hard change to so many of the weapons.
