I like the art style in the promo art but the actual game itself just looks like shit.

It's a bit of a pet peeve but I can't stand the look of "pixel art" games where they have multiple different sizes of "pixel" for the different graphical components; for example in Rabi Rabi you may have large pixels making up the player character and a completely different size of pixel for the background art, and then yet another size of pixel for the HUD elements.

The vast majority of retro style games manage to make pixel art with consistent "pixel size" yet Rabi Rabi just utterly fails at it
