yo, Sup Forums, here's whats up. ive been a PC gamer for the last couple years, as i upgraded my comp and then had a bit of bad luck and couldn't afford to buy a console. long story short i just picked up a PS4 today. HOWEVER, i did technically "buy" P.T. back whern it was avalible in PSN and it still shows up in my library now. although i never initally installed it per say, can any user confirm if the method listed at this link:eurogamer.net

I really fucking wanna play P.T. its the only horror game/ concept ive seen in years that really got me going, and if i couldve afforded a PS4 at the time i would've played it then. fucking just want to try it out viper my man. i also want my sister to play it, shes never interested in video games and she went out of her way to watch it on youtube

You should be good if you already have the license for it. Just download the PT package file for your region from Reddit or somewhere onto a USB stick and back up and restore it to your PS4. This will delete everything already on there so backup saves etc before trying it. PT is kino, enjoy

Oh cool, well there's two methods of doing it, proxy or back up. Back up might be harder if your PSN account isn't American because it will be harder to find the package file if your PT license is for a smaller country.

yea it worked for me, i had to do this around august last year because my hdd absolutely shit itself
my PSN is american. so i just have to find the files on reddit somewhere, download them to a usb stick, put it in my PS$ and download the backup from it? im confused, do i have to back up the entire ps4 os or just find a game backup
It's somewhere in settings I'm pretty sure. I haven't done this since Christmas 2015. Backing up and restoring deletes all games except for the ones you tick that you want to stay I think. When it boots back up, PT should be on your console and USB device. It's useful if you used the proxy method and want to keep a copy of the game somewhere else.
I think if you just want to copy the game to the USB from your console there may be just a copy function that doesn't reboot the entire system but I'm not sure. Hope this helps. I had the same struggle three years ago
well, it seems to be working! thanks a lot guys, and i dont intend on uninstalling it ever, so hopefully ill have it from now on! i really cant believe they stopped making silent hills. it was one of the big reasons i wanted to buy a PS4 at all. i dont play consoles often, though i seem to end up owning them all at one point or another kek

If the doors are closed it means you usually have to walk around a little and try to trigger the next event. Try bumping into the bathroom and basement door a few times.

i actually own it for ps3 and beat it there. honestly i just dont enjoy the game. the gunplay and liomited bullets were cool, but i didnt like the stealth aspects and felt that the game felt too slow for my own tastes. i have the survivor edition though, so the comic book it came with it cool

You have to had bought the game off the site or store for this to work. Like to the rights to it or whatever. The game would always show up on my ps4 but I couldn't download it until I did this
