What is the longest game?
What is the longest game?
life
Isn't pokemon stadium really stupidly long to finish
Unironically this
Skyrim, it literally has infinite quests
dark cloud 2
...Minecraft?
Yugioh Forbidden Memories or Baten Kaitos.
Each one takes 100s of hours to speedrun if you want to do everything there is to do in them. Playing casually would obviously take much longer
Dragon Quest 7?
sidequests don't count
MMOs I guess
oh ok. In that case, Xenogears is probably the longest. Takes about 18 hours if you're going as fast as you possibly can
no that's obviously too short, utilize your intellect moreso.
Does Mountain Blade count?
desert bus
do you mean mount and blade?
Monster Hunter 4U because of the grind and all the shit u can complete.
No
Runescape. It literally takes 6months to max the third fastest skill in the game.
Me trying to lose my virginity.
don't worry user, sex isn't as cracked up as everyone makes it out to be
No Man Sky
Who told you that?
uhhhh dragon quest 7? IIRC it's like 100 hours for the main story + 300 hours for everything
neverwinter nights, it theoretically only ends when you want it to!
As far as single-player games with no online content are concerned Dragon Warrior VII is a good candidate. You know how your average RPG lasts about 70 if you do absolutely everything? 70 hours is the average time it takes to get through disc 1 in DW7.
Desert Golf.
>70 hours is the average time it takes to get through disc 1 in DW7
h-how many discs are there user?
>That game is available on the Nintendo Switch, the best console of the moment. Go and buy that game... You know which game Im talking about user
>Its Skyrim user, 500+ hours of infinite quest and fun
Not so long if you skip all the dialogue, but still lengthy.
Runescape. No competiton
Two and the second one isn't nearly as long as the first one.
Digimon world 2 was exhaustingly long.. Digimon world 3 also
>70+ hours of turn-based sprite shit
yikes
Fuckin Ni No Kuni, that shit goes for on and on...
It has a lot of content, but I wouldn't say its the longest. Last fight was annoying as fuck though.
Digimon World 3 isn't that long if you know what to do. There are only really 8 areas.
Digimon World 2 however is bullshit and only long because of the level cap breeding kikery.
We need to set some rules to get a fairer answer.
Which game that isn't online or procedurally generated is the longest?
>cap breeding kikery
Lel. If uou want pay back for the helplessness we felt as children download a psx simulator and play it now at 400 fps. You'll get through the first island in a day.
All collectibles/side quests or just the main path?
Chrono trigger is very long
Until the end credits roll.
Flappybird
It's an infinite loop and the only break condition is to find a PS3 game.
100% completion of Baten Kaitos
You just lost the game
>Be Dragon Quest fan
>Plead with Square to localized the 3DS remake of 7 for years
>It finally happens
>Play it
>Feel underwhelmed by the end
It felt like so much of it was needless filler. Now i know what they meant by "bite-sized storytelling" because every island plotline wrapped up in 20 minutes. By the 13th island i was ready for it to be over.
>It's only the halfway mark
And at the very end when everyone gathers for the final battle, HALF THE ISLANDs don't even show up! Meaning they had no meaning! SQUAAAAREEE!
Was thinking of Disgaea 2 for the first option, which has its main story being pretty short.
Oh well, Dragon's Dogma?
>tfw just started dq7 to finish off my 3ds backlog
>read this thread
Dragon Quest 7 was a mistake
I don't think it's notably long but Ni No Kuni's pacing is fucking glacial
You take like 20 hours to get the third party member. This is a real habit of level 5
This, and it's the best in the series
There is that polish guy who did a 221 year save in football manager
Fpbp, as always
The one you keep coming back to.
