Claire gets the Machine Gun with no pack, she only gets one weapon on her playthrough (Grenade Launcher, Xbow sucks cock) so she can handle both in her inventory better. Leon's pistol gets a kickass upgrade, along with his shotty and magnum. I always give him the pack
