I've been trying to climb in overwatch lately and after spending well over 100 hours trying to climb to plat I am still stuck between silver and low gold and I can't get out.. How do I survive this elo hell? I even tried maining widow and spending hours and days practicing her in custom games, against bots, in quickplay yet I am still not good enough at her to climb... I have been heckled a lot for it and people say its because I have a low iq, I'm dumb etc.. Could it really be that? I mean my aim is alright on soldier and I have been doing well after maining dva for a while but still nothing.. Im still stuck in the same place and Im barely even improving, and even if I tried again my progress is still very slow and Im started to feel like this is my peak at video games.
I have played other fps games and I am THE WORST at them, especially on pubg.. Im an actual monkey in that game... Is it because Im a girl that im bad? IS THERE ANY HOPE FOR ME I JUST WANT TO BE GOOD AT SOMETHING AND I CANT EVEN MASTER SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS A VIDEO GAME!?!?!!!!!!!?

If it isn't, you've hit a plateau. Focus on acquiring skills you don't have yet. Don't main a character. Main the whole cast. The broader and deeper your understanding of the game is, the better you'll play it. That sounds obvious but there's more to it than what you immediately understand.
Example: You're playing some pick class and you jump the enemy team's medic. Where will they go? How will they try to evade you? Answering those questions is much easier if you've been in their position before. You understand what their priorities are and where they'll move better because you've had those priorities and made those moves yourself. With that knowledge, you can easily kill them every time. You know where to shoot, so all that's left is aiming.
Overwatch is for toddlers. I'd recommend you move up to something else once you plateau again. TF2 would be a good start, kind of like your tween years... Then maybe Quake or CSS. After that you should be able to pick up and play most FPS.

I legit think the reason most games feature fewer females is threefold:
1.) The lack of a competitive spirit. I see this in some males as well, but more often in women. In competitions of skill what drives a lot of men is to prove themselves. Women tend to be passive and selective in this regard. They don’t feel a need to show their superiority because they don’t feel any innate need. It’s not entertaining because it doesn’t appeal to their nature.
2.) They have poorer spatial awareness. In terms of ability to think in a 3D environment the average woman is poorer than the average man. Again, there are always exceptions to every rule, but it is he unavoidable elephant in the room.
3.) Finally population size. There are vastly more males that play competitive games than females, of course due in part to rule 1 above. But with a smaller population of female gamers, there will obviously be fewer numbers of females that may exist as outliers. Though it could be argued that those that compete and do well are themselves the outliers.

This game is about positioning and knowing when to combo ults. Aiming comes with game experience. You need to learn what do do in different situations and react adapt accordingly.
