to become a goddess

I see you're a man of culture as well

13 is shit 13-2 is shit 13-3 is shit. Lighting is a whore fuck japs ff is dead

Sounds like somebody's a little bottom befuddled

HURTS MY HANDS

to fuck the shota.

To the save entire Galaxy.

...

It's true. A third of humanity canonically dies at the ending of XIII-1 according to an interview. That's a body count of 6,6 million. Did better than many FF villains. Of course Serah is the only one to ever feel guilt over it.

>Serah is the only one to ever feel guilt over it
Lightning knows how to make her feel better

Can you sign the petition to make this bc on Xboner thx

>No armpit shot

nigga get a grip

...

Well shit you just got me wondering the actual kill-counts of the FF villains. Wouldn't Sin/Yu-Yevon technically be one of the highest? Then Kefka maybe?

Has a game developer’s waifu ever been given this much attention before?

XIII trilogy in one disc for the PS4 when? I mean it's not like FFXVI and FFVIIR are coming out this decade so at least I'd have a Final Fantasy to play in the downtime.

She also killed good character development

That died with Aerith

Ultimecia, Kefka and Ardyn pretty much eradicated humanity.

>to become a goddess of uglyness

Completely agree with that.

...of sperm cells.

...

Caius as well. Although they were already to die in a different way and he's to thank for humanity surviving at all.

Could you please elaborate a little? I'm really curious about your first hand views. I mean she wanted to know more about herself and got that wish. Mostly it's that I know some find her really annoying and/or random, but since I don't at all, I can't even imagine how excruciating playing VII is like if so. I suppose it's similar to me playing IV, because I hate Cecil and Kain, but I'm just incapable of transferring the feeling onto the VII experience in my mind. What is it like?

First OFFICIAL female protagonist and her design is retarded.
Looks like crossdressing Cloud only with more retarded hairstyle and shittier hair color.

> more retarded hairstyle
That's a bit of a stretch.

>First OFFICIAL female protagonist
You aren't forgetting FF6, i hope?

Hope is pure.

Forgot someone

Fuck it, this is now a FF girls thread, post em.

No I didn't forget, which is why I said "OFFICIAL" in caps. Officially FF6 got no "actual main protagonist" even though Terra is one with most focus and postergirl of FF6 according to Yoshinori she ain't(dumb logic).

FF13 also doesnt have "actual main protagonist" just like FF6 and dont talk about the sequels because nobody cares

I'm pretty sure Lightning is a lesbian, but Hope still a cute, I would.

Wrong

You can't just post that without giving a source.

...

Hopurai is canon

And she did it without showing a single iota of personality. Pretty amazing, innit?

...

Wait wut!?

>adult Hope

...to save billions.

They made it canon in the novel for LR:FF13.
Is this better?

Much better. Sauce please?

>I'm pretty sure Lightning is a lesbian
lol

Well... she gives pretty strong lesbo vibes.

Cognitive Bias

She's HopeSexual.

this guy never played 13-2

Google's only giving me ebay links and I'm not having any luck on sites like H2R or e hentai

hikari-to-kibou.livejournal.com/profile

Do I need to be a member to see it?

Yeah, that's the only way you can see her translations.

Ugh, hassle. But I suppose I can just make a burner.

Noctis>lightning

To be fair, adult Hope is perfect bf material.

...

>that ass
Never ever.

By that logic, /ss/ Hope is even more perfect than perfect

So what exactly is this from?

Caius doesn't really count because the Cocoon shenanigans had killed off 1/3 of humanity before him. He got Bart's sloppy seconds.

He really is.

>HURTS MY HANDS
Every time.

DO NOT OPEN

it's literally a one shot.

...

HURTS MY HANDS

>I missed the lightning thread

How fast could she make a man cum with just her mouth? Seconds? Minutes?

It's not over yet

He got more. He got 2/3 plus the multiplied amounts that had accumulated in the intervening 500 years after that. Their destruction just took another 500 years to come to a conclusion. But inevitably it did.

Might as well hang yourself for liking Lightning, while you're at it.

Not that guy but Kitase (director of FF6) explicitly explained that FF6 has no coherent main character.

FF13 was explained that in early production Vanille was the main character until they saw the reaction to Lightning and then completely changed it so she's the main character in the final product.

So yes, officially Lightning is the first female protag in the main entries unlike Terra who isn't.

Well it's not like they had a real choice.

FF13 has no central protagonist or main character despite what the box art and marketing may try to say.

I've played the game and it's clear that Vanille was the intended one, but even then it's another FF6 situation.

No, Lightning is the main character dumb ass. Get over it. Vanille was just in early production. Lightning was in the final product.

And that is what counts.

Post your source.

Lightning's initial concept was a 'strong woman': it was personality-based instead of plot-driven, unlike the initial concepts for some other Final Fantasy heroines of the past. After her character's mindset and role were locked down, Square Enix turned to Tetsuya Nomura for the character design. Director Motomu Toriyama has said that, "With Lightning, one look at the design made me say 'This is it!' She looked so cool and strong that there was no need for any retakes."[7] Despite Toriyama's claim, Lightning's appearance has developed from its initial concept.

finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Lightning_(Final_Fantasy_XIII)#Final_Fantasy_XIII_2

In other words, they locked down her role as main character back in the day.

Here is more

Director Motomu Toriyama's full quote: "We feel that every person within the party is a main character, but we feel Lightning is very impactful as the main female protagonist in the Final Fantasy series. Not only is she the first female protagonist, she is very powerful, cool, calm, and collected. So we believe that is another attractive feature of hers." This official statement addressed the common claim that Final Fantasy VI's Terra was the first female protagonist; but it does not address Final Fantasy X-2 or Final Fantasy XIII itself. According to this official statement, Square Enix identifies Lightning as the first female protagonist,

Toriyama is such a waifufag holy shit. I'm going to claim death of the author here: in FFXII standalone Lightning was not the clear protagonist. It wasn't until the sequel games where she became the main focus.

>but it does not address Final Fantasy X-2 or Final Fantasy XIII itself.
This quote is about Lightning Returns, user.

Reminder that Garland canonically wins fucking everything.
>His 'Present' self still survives after Chaos is killed, meaning the time-loop doesn't break
>Causes a fucking universe reset in Dissidia
>Chaos as an abstract becomes the cause for much of the conflict in the entire franchise
>Is the OG Dark Knight
>Mating presses the Cloud of Darkness every other day
>Dicked Lightning so hard that she couldn't be brought back by Cosmos
>Skull fucked Cosmos right in front of WoL before killing both of them
>The literal first boss of Final Fantasy
>No stupid edgy 'lolrandumb' backstory, no last minute 'actually he's a good guy' asspull, no 'I was pretending to he a good guy but I'm actually evil' idiocy, his crush turned him down so he said fuck it and became a god
>GLORIOUS AESTHETIC ARMOR
>Is literally the favorite antagonist of the man who made the franchise

Why was Garland considered evil anyways?

Well, he did kidnap a princess. Admittedly I don't think he even did anything to her outside of not letting her go until she promised to marry him.

But she clearly is the female protagonist. Saying she's not is like saying Tifa is the main character of FF7 dude. Tifa may be important but she's not the main character.

>But she clearly is the female protagonist.
In FFXIII Vanille is clearly the female protagonist, she literally narrates the game as such.
In Lightning Returns, Lightning is the protagonist, and Toriyama retroactively tried to make her the protag of FFXIII but nobody is falling for that shit.

No she's not. That was early production stuff. Lightning is the main protagonist in the final product. Not Vanille.

Why Lightningfags still exists? She is literally worst female of the entire FF franchise. I mean second worst after Vanille-shit.

Bullshit. Source of gtfo.

I can see ironic Lightningfags still sticking around. I mean, I hate her guts but i still want to rub my dick on her armpits.

This

My goodness. You were actually serious? I guess I'll post what I thought would be prudent to refrain from posting:

>the final product
>And that is what counts.

(Officially in iconography sure, but no one should care.)

Funny, because the plot of XIII revolves wholly around Vanille's history, choices and present attitude. She has caused everything and when she becomes brave the plot starts to move and resolves. If I were to make an analogy, Vanille is to Terra as Lightning is to someone like Setzer or Cyan. Even Serah has a better claim to main protagonisthood and she's not even in the party.

Square-Enix has a long history of fucking this up. Characters that were real main characters: Lenna*, Celes, Locke, Edgar, Aerith, Dagger, Vivi, Yuna*, Paine, Basch, Ashe*, Vanille* and Noel.

*) the ones I agree with, but people make cases for the rest.

And each time they've tried to force an ensemble cast, which is a faulty concept to begin with, they've failed except for Before Crisis (Because you can choose at the start, which causes the one you choose to experience the most plot, so it doesn't matter if some characters are more relevant to it in their backstory or relationships.). This was also the case for XIII, it was definitely intended and followed through unsuccessfully.

good post

>Garland
Uncountable. Chaos as an abstract transcends FF1 and may very well be partially accountable for some of the villains in other games
>The Emperor
Likely on the low end
>CoD
Very low, if any, but had high potential
>Golbez, or whoever you count as 4's villain
Low-end
>Exdeath
Likely on par with Mateus, I don't recall him doing many big massacres but I may be wrong
>Kefka
First major mass-killing. Very high.
>Sephiroth
Likely high, but not like Kefka
>Ultimecia
She fucked around with time, probably a larger count than Kefka
>Kuja
Didn't he have quite a few sprees? Not on Kefka or Ultimecia level but still hefty.
>Sin
I recall him getting around quite a bit, probably high.
>11's BBEG
Lol
>Vayne
Did nothing wrong
>13
Shit got weird and death doesn't really seem to mean squat, so the kill counts are probably high
>Zodiark
Theoretically, he may have cause numerous civilization wipes. Likely high up there.
>Ardyn
Pretty hefty, he fucked the world up hard.

So it really comes down to Ultimecia, Ardyn, Kefka, Zodiark, and (possibly) Garland.

I don't have a source, so I'm choosing gtfo, but I had learned of it before early-2013, the moment I gave XIII-2 a chance. The fact that Cocoon housed 20 million humans should also be in some official source.

I can give you my word that I'm convinced I'm not lying, but not much else.

Sin is probably highest muh duud
