Time sink reccomendations

I'm unemployed for the next month or two and need a time sink. Something easy to get into but with some depth so I don't get bored too easily. No idea what genre I want.

For example I've been playing Terraria but I doubt its gonna last me much longer and I cant find anyone to play with me and playing along sucks.

>Nothing P2W or with significant chunks hidden behind DLC please.
>Multiplayer is fine if the community isn't AIDS.
>PC, and will run on my outdated hardware

Path of Exile.

Vermintide 2 soon.

Corruption of Champions

Gaming is bad for you when unemployed.
Start watching anime, it will put you in a better place.

Crusader Kings
>significant chunks hidden behind DLC please
just pirate it

I took 3 months off as a contractor and binged JRPGs (since they have to be 60-100 hours long for some goddamn reason).

Finished 3 JRPs clocking 300 hours total.

bleach brave souls

Been enjoying Hollow Knight quite a bit. 40 hours wouldn't but out of the ordinary for a first time near-100% run.

Cookie clicker, or some other clicker shit of your choice

Amateur

Wake up early and go to bed consistently. Start doing something productive that you're interested in, even if you don't feel like it just try it for 10min and go do anything else, just do it consistently every day.

Try to avoid timesinks, what's the point in wasting so much of your time doing something that is 90% unmemorable or adds nothing to your life? Even watching anime is better than that.

This is good advice. I am stuck in this rut right now. I don't even remember what day of the week it is most the time.

Monster Hunter World is a pretty good choice, actually. It's got depth but it's not that hard and you can just grind constantly.

Don't Starve Together

Considering I gained 20 pounds, it's a personal best

Getting to end game in any disgaea game, start with the first one

He said months not years.

Why don't you learn a useful skill that could help you get a better job instead?

Get your hand on some drugs and just get high for your time off.

Try some touhou fangames.

terraria

DUDE

1.5 months of being high and 2 weeks of detox. It is a good way to spend some time.

nt for ultra mutant

if someone opens a server im totally in for playing, its a bit boring alone, i agree.

for terraria i mean...

>have literally infinite time to do whatever and spends it playing video games
SAD!

build a bunch of shit in Minecraft and stream it on Youtube with a link to your donation page

Emulate one of the persona games. Loads of playtime in that, though if you don't like JRPGs you're out of luck. Start with 3 or 4.

This. Any grand strategy game, honestly.

Get into speed running a game. Just avoid the online speed running community. They will turn you into a transgender.

Payday 2, Path of Exile, Vermintide 1, Killing Floor 2, any Diablo-like...

But it's better to get some $$$ on upwork or freelance something up. You have a job waiting for you?
