Despite being my 2017 goty, it's pretty shameful the post-launch treatment it received. One shitty DLC and not even a small patch to fix a few issues. Even fucking Drakengard 3 got better post-launch support than this game.

Just use FAR... I played it on 1440p, 75fps constant and only had one bug at the start of route B, everything else was perfect.

Especially weird after its been so successful. I know it's a port and the PS4 version didn't have any major issues, but Steam carries a lot of weight for a the longevity of a game's sales. You'd think they would step up support.

Personally I don't mind too much. I didn't pay full price, got a better experience overall and it wasn't too much of a trouble. And considering I wasn't expecting a PC release it was good.

I honestly think the DLC from the original Nier was higher quality.

The story was bare-bones outside of a few text documents and it didn't bring much to the table gameplay-wise, but it at least had an important lore reveal and offered character costumes that actually stayed in-place during important cutscenes.

I wish they'd just tell us if they were teasing the next project or just having another quick talk-show interview.

I know we won't see anything big this soon, but I hate the anticipation of news when it might just be a promo for a new mobile app or something.

I'd like to have one improvement though.
Nier:A actually fixed the upgrade mats grind because if you went through the sidequests you got like 80% of what you needed as a reward and you could buy almost all the rest from endgame Emil shop.
Much better than farming desert 'flying ghost' things or Junkyard robots for days.

Fishing is ez as fuck. Look where the fish goes and pull the stick to the opposite site, press action to pull the fish early.

I think there wouldn't be much point in remastering it unless they added a Replicant mode and localization kept the original script. Better resolution for a game that already looked like shit on release doesn't sound like an interesting selling point if you've played it already.

Have any of you completed all the challenges in the DLC? I remember stopping once cheated in maxed plug-in chips. Even then, it seems like too much of a bother.

Yeah, the loot drops for quest in the junk heap could definitely be touched up to be less tedious.

I'm pretty sure that entire side-plot with Accord involves jumping between different alternate realities, including from the Drakengard to the Nier timelines. And by timelines, I mean the chronologically linear paths each reality takes.
