This is a thread dedicated to trying to figure out what the fuck that one game is that you can't find anywhere but remember clear as day.
For me it's some indie or Kickstarter game Dan era GameGrumps played years ago. It was first person and involved traversing through some caves with a little blue skinned/blue haird girl. I think you were looking for your father and he discovered these weird blue people. Anyone know the name? I can't find it on their YT channel.
22, man. I watched it for a while before falling off around I think 2014. So it was my senior year of highschool. I'm a faggot, I know but let's be real here.
Logan Anderson
Jesus fuck, bump. I forgot how fast Sup Forums is.
Hudson Wood
I'll bump it for you, OP.
Jack Cruz
Early Childhood (MAYBE educational) point and click game where you played as a young African girl, I think the box-art/Title-screen may have been yellow? I know this is a vague description and I am sorry.
Alexander Watson
SNES sidescrolling game in the dinosaur era where youre a caveman and kill monsters with a club
>Steam Train Well no fucking wonder. Thank you, based retard poster. I knew it had to be 2013-14 though.
Camden Murphy
I distinctly remember owning a game in the late 90s that was essentially a kids point-and-click game similar to the Living Books series or the Buzzy the Knowledge bug games. However, this game was pretty awful and was very very very strange.
You followed this kid with a weird head around his house and his town, clicking on stuff to make them move and things. One room I remember is his kitchen where he is eating breakfast. If you clicked on the cereal bowl he would drop his head into the bowl and lay there for like five seconds until a weird chime would make him stop. Another area was a park of some sorts, and if you clicked on a little ant in the corner you would shrink to a tiny size where you could watch a grainy 3d gif of an ant breakdance for some reason.
However, I vividly remember one of the rooms you could explore was the kid's bedroom at night. He would be sleeping in the bed and you could touch things like usual. However, if you touched the wardrobe, horrific alien monster looking things would emerge from inside, and beckon the kid over to "play". What followed would then be a bizarre shot of the kid floating towards a fantasy castle at daytime, and the game would promptly shut itself down.
There was also a minigame of some sort where you could observe food in a restaurant. Clicking on the food made some child's voice sing a strange rhyming poem about a character called 'Barry the Bear who hates to share'. Clicking on the kitchen door would make the chef come out wielding a knife screaming 'get out of my kitchen!'.
I've provided some visual references to some of these scenes of what I seem to remember them looking like. Please excuse the mspaint quality.
Anthony Smith
It was a horizontal shmup, probably from 2007 or so but don't take my word for it (certainly released before 2011). I remember it was pretty dark, the artstyle was not pixelized nor 3d, and had a sorta robotic feel to it (not the transformers type of robotic, just sentient machines, i think). Also, I'm not completely sure of this one, but one of the bosses could've been a long snake sort of thing, and he went out of the screen and came back into it?
Landon Peterson
no... its another one
Wyatt Sullivan
How about a flight game where default controls were something like tab for shoot and space for alt shoot? also 1 2 and 3 were used to controll speed. 3d game btw, help me out
Gavin Jones
Big Nose the caveman?
Ian Russell

Aiden Flores
I remember a top down car game where you are chased by the police.- It includes many different weapons like a rocket launcher, land mines etc. maps such as city roads, winter roads and desert with many jumps and interesting physics. I played it on OSX about ten years ago and it may or may not be an exclusive.
Lincoln Nguyen
I huge (I think there were like 20 plus episodes) series of browser based puzzle adventures starring an obvious Lara Croft expy. I remember the first episode starting on a boat being attack by natives on a jungle.
Angel Price
It was a kind of BMX racing game where you race down huge as fuck mountains and you can knock other people off their bikes and the game had a heavy focus on tricks Pretty much SSX but with mountain bikes It was on PS2 if that helps
Daniel Hill
Maybe "No fear downhill mountain biking"
Henry Roberts
man I just remember this fucking absurd game where you're a odd white clothed character with green or pink hair. I remember this one part where it was light brown colored, desert level? Volcano? idk. You picked up these enemies and you'd hear "shake shake". Played it when I was 6 or some shit so can't remember the name
Colton Hughes
Syndicate? Shadowrun?
Prehistorik Man?
Adam Gray
that's definitely Mischief Makers
Thomas Bailey
no...
his pelt clothes are red-ish iirc
Caleb Bell
PS1 game where you have to herd sheep or something into a pen. There are also bears that will chase you, that you can trap in a small fenced off area. If the sheep get too close, the bear reaches over and eats the sheep.
Henry Ortiz
It was an Atari game maybe also on Amiga. You controlled a huge robot and fought against another one in arena. You could invest prize money into your robot and upgrade it. It was cool as fuck.
Austin Hill
Unironically please continue this creepypasta
Thomas Evans
Some web top-down perspective game where you played as a yellow robot in a spaceship and could switch your guns and shit in 6 boxes
Mason Carter
>Sega Genesis >You recruit people in a jail at the start >You escape via a turtle
Anyone?
Brody Rivera
prehistorik?
Nicholas Anderson
The game you're looking for might be A Story About my Uncle
Aiden Robinson
It's was a PS1 game I played am eternity ago. It was some sort of Little League Japanese baseball game with chibi characters I believe. Had really strange music that consisted of mainly cheers and chants.
Daniel Cook
I remember this one 2d side scrolling game where you play as this orange dude, and a blue dude if you're playing 2 player. All I can really remember about it is that there was this one super move you could do where you fire a giant laser. It would probably be in the ps1 or 2. I don't even know if this game is real or not, but I'd like to see it again if it is.
Juan Campbell
that's it!!!!!!!! fuck that felt like itching the worst itch i've ever had.
Chase Sanchez
How could you forget Mischief Makers? People talk about somewhat regularly here.
Jeremiah Perez
If the bears are pink, it was Pic Related
Brayden Thompson
What kind of game? RPG?
Jeremiah Johnson
Retro game probably on NES or SNES, side scrolling, you play as a red or blue character and you can co-op with a friend playing as the other character. The only enemy I remember from the game was a plant like monster that shot death balls in the air similar to those plants in super Mario world. I think each time you started a new level it would show you what kind of monster to expect.
Carter Ward
I think so, I don't remember the combat system at all. I think it was mutiplayer.
Joshua Russell
I'm seriously not making this up, this is a real game and in fact I'm pretty sure there was two of them.
I'm desperately trying to comb my brain for any other information I could give. There was another minigame where you plotted a submarine map across the antarctic and have it follow the line you drew. There would be an enemy submarine to avoid too, and if you collided it would play a short animation of an generic evil captain forcing you at gunpoint to basically become his hostage. Additionally you could find a random blonde swimsuit lady just hanging on an iceberg and she would then say 'love and kisses from the iceflow' and you would be forced to then listen to atmospheric arctic ocean sounds for like two minutes while she just stands there.
There was a bathroom scene too where all I can remember was that if you opened the cabinet over the sink you had like a 25% chance that there would just be some dude's face floating inside it. Then some voice would say 'Oh look its a floating head in a box, did you know that is the only thing a baby can perceive their parents as when they are born?'
Again I swear I am not making this up.
Brandon Rivera
Oh fuck I think this is it. I could've sworn it was a PS1 game, though. And that the main character didn't look so menacing. Still, I'm like 90% sure you're right. Thanks.
Lucas Diaz
An anime or cartoon-ish fishing game with a town where you can sell your fish is all i can remember but i would like to know more Doubt anyone will know about this though since it's an n-gage game
Jason Ramirez
Game was called dead something, you play as a bike or motorcycle rider, shooting lasers and missiles. Eventually a wall of electricity starts killing everyone and you have to reach the center of the map. It was like a moba before mobas
Jose Flores
What game is the image from?
Andrew Campbell
Resident evil outbreak. Online, on a computer, playing with strangers.
William Walker
Nightmare mode: in the early 2000s, maybe even late 90s I played a demo of a shmup game that came on a demo disc with a local game mag. A vertical top-down scrolling shmup, it had 3d graphics, you were piloting a white and blue wide ship which shot cyan bullets. You could also charge up your power and fire a big cyan fireball or a wide cyan continous beam. The first level was your typical grassy lands which later gave way into militaristic encampments. Enemies exploded into triangular polygons when hit. The boss of the level was a huge ship that filled half the screen. It's generic as fuck, but any suggestions would be welcome.
Michael Phillips
Custer's revenge
Joshua Butler
Old 2007-8 game that came prepackaged with Windows 7, breakout clone of some kind. Also a battleship game that had a regular mode along with some campaign mode where you navigate a ship through levels to destroy other ships, subs and land enemies.
Robert Scott
>it's an n-gage game You can just find a list of n-gage games and go through it.
Cooper Barnes
Doubt I'll ever get help from these threads but: Some early 2k games for a PlayStation system where you could swap between a male and female character, one with swords, the other with guns, on a space station. Hub area had a save point and characters you talked to to progress through the story. Going into areas of the station would lock down the area if monsters spawned in it. It also has split screen where you and a buddy could play as each of the characters in what I remember as an arena hold out for as long as you can mode
Angel Lewis
PS1 FPS, only thing I remember about it is playing split-screen multiplayer on a ship level
Christian Gutierrez
When i had ps1 there was a game on those black demo discs. It had transforming mechs and demo included 1 map for local multiplayer. You could transform between combat and vehicle mode on the go and it had third person perspective.
Brandon Moore
Might me Run Like Hell, but I'm not sure.
Joseph Russell
Benoit Sokal's Paradise?
Gabriel Thomas
>side scroller beat em up (idr) >started level in van >fight thugs and aliens or something
not streets of rage
Alexander Richardson
I already did, never find it Maybe my memory was a bit wonky and it was just a small game from an old phone or something
Ryan Powell
I used to play a platformer on PC when I was little. I think you played a cat or similar animal (its not the game where you are a pirate). The levels I recall had very bright colors and a candy land feel or something like that I remember you used corks as lifts
Xavier Perez
Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep?
Caleb Williams
No, it had a rating below M
Kayden White
Future Cop?
Brody Jones
90's shooter with animated cutscenes when you die in gruesome detail, main character is a stylized human, with pale skin, a beard and long hair.
One of the "weapons" was like a Hadoken-like shit the protag shot from his hands.
It was a FPS.
Luis Rodriguez
several years backk there was a crowdfunded game set on a space ship, game play was like FTL but on a bigger scale, ie capital ships and graphics where not far off the xcom series....i think thhere was also a sandbox aspect and trade/ exploration, maybe even away miissions.. could never find the game after watching the traiiler once but there was a lot in thhe trailer already, i cant imagine it just being abandoned, it lookedd awesome.
Sebastian Perry
golden axe
Jace Nguyen
sonic and knuckles
Ryan Kelly
zool?
Nolan Watson
Gameboy advance racing game, it was sort of like a weird mix of Mario kart and real racing in that the tracks were crazy with bottomless pits and jumps and such but the cars were real and could be upgraded, I specifically remember a part in the story where you race in Africa and all the tracks there were muddy and shit so if you didn't have off-road wheels you were fucked
Daniel Taylor
there was a game on snes where the protaganist was called jim, i think he was some kind of earthworm. might have been on mmegadrive also
Jason Parker
Sounds cool, I highly doubt it but Starsector?
Justin Clark
An PC old game, late 80s or early 90s. Sidescroller with James Bond-like protagonist. There's a small overworld island with multiple bunkers, which you have to traverse for some reason. The levels are filled with deathtraps and you may fight some robots or something. One of the first games I've ever played but I can't remember the name
Henry Lee
>Starsector nope definately not, though that looks like it might be up my street. Graphics in the game im talking about where 3d isometric and there was a very imperial military theme about it, not 40k style, more like retro ish uniforms in space, lots of blue with gold trim
Kevin Howard
my friend mentioned a PS1 isometric RPG where there was a fishing minigame that had a boss that you fished up, and if you lost to this boss, you could never go fishing again.
closest thing I've been able to find for him was Grandia/BoF3/4 but I'm still not certain, because whiel there was certainly a giant fish boss, you certainly don't physically fish it up, nor does it have any impact on fishing, save for Angler in BoF4 opening up a new fishing area once defeated.
any ideas?
Carter Bell
when I was a kid I played a game where you are in some kind of a ship, shooting shit in a labyrinth(robots, other ships idk) it was really low poly from what I remember and had kinda of a tron vibe, with neon lights The starting cutscene was a guy in a grey suit with a helmet much like a motorcycle one, never been able to find it and at this point I think I may have hallucinated the whole thing
Brody Evans
Maken X / Maken Shao?
Jonathan Cox
tetris?
Kevin James
Really? You literally have the name of the game
Adam Parker
I remember this platformer on a floppy disc that I used to play on windows 98 that had a bear in a hawaiian shirt and who whacked shit with a huge mallet. Not sure if it was a demo or something, but it was pretty short and ended with the bear going under the sea and inside a whale.
The game was named after the bear, and its name probably started with the letter E or something, but I never been able to find anything about it on google.
Carson Davis
>An original xbox game, first person shooter. >You’re a dude who was injected with something that gave you magic powers. >Your perspective shows your hand and gun. >Cutscenes where you can look or move around. >Takes place, I think, partly on earth, partly in another demention or planet. >Not Bioshock.
Chase Lewis
sorry my dude im just shitting up the thread xD
Jayden Price
Star Citizen
Michael Sullivan
Beatdown?
Noah Ramirez
It's a web game of a pure-yellow-sunny-face tetris clone with white background, and in some mode, it makes a funny mouth-frap dubstep music stating your about to lose. My gemstone childhood I had disappeared and I couldn't remember it forever, and it's the only one I found.
And a copy of many AlvinYTPs and SMB: Plan X.
Nathan Lee
There was this one that I played around 2010 or even earlier, it was an online only multiplayer racing game with good graphics at the moment. There were 2 types of racing if I remember, the normal one with normal cars (not branded) and then there was the option of a nascar style race, you started with a slow nascar car and then you could advance into a faster one.
Anthony Sullivan
nah it was like third person or whatever, with the ship being literally just a triangle, like the starfox games
Zachary Ortiz
nah it was an isometric jobby and im pretty sure it involvved turn based combat and you could design the ships...star citixen was announcedd at the time though and people where still optimistic about it
Joseph Kelly
Probably not it, but sounds a bit like Future Cop: LAPD.
Hunter Murphy
Worms?
Ian Green
Some game like Raiden on the PS1/2, it was 3D. You were controlling a spaceship or fighter jet or something like that which flies "on rails" and had to lock on to targets flying in. There was some kind of lightning attack I think.
Eli Rodriguez
also I think mc was a prisoner and you were forced to do these things
Landon Diaz
tempest i meant, not sure why i put tetris
James Davis
Ok, when I was a little kid, I played all these educational games on my parents computer, and one of them I remember was a kind of find it game, similar to I spy.
The gimmick was that it was a house at night, and when the lights were off, everything looked messed up and scary, but turning on the lights, everything looked normal, the point of the game was that it was supposed to teach kids not to be scared of the dark, because everything looks scarier in the dark.
It had a dog and a cat I think? And an opening theme song, I've been trying to remember the name, it had something to do with nightlights. I'd love to see if I could find it and play it again, I remember it scaring the shit out of me as a kid.
Carter Sanders
maybe
Hudson Myers
More info, it was somewhat similar to live for speed but more arcadey and also for PC only
Lincoln Young
Thought so, didn't think someone could have acute authism so severe that is on par to 3rd wave feminists
Owen Jenkins
It's Golden Axe my dude.
Don't forget it's a FLYING turtle. That's the important part.
Easton Thomas
well, it isn't this one but looked a lot like this but it wasn't "on rails", best way I have to describe it thanks anyway I think now I may be able to find it because this looks a look like it
Evan Miller
