N64 Classic

My dad works at Nintendo and says they won't be making the N64 classic in the foreseeable future. Says the cost to make each unit would be too expensive, and also Rare is not on board to help. Also there is no way they are going to sell it with 4 controllers and retailers will not stock extra N64 controllers.

>my dad works at nintendo and...
this is how lies usually start

your post is obviously fake, BUT it's also obviously correct anyway

My dad also works at Nintendo and says that your dad is a faggot who eats his lunch in a bathroom stall and steals pens from the supply closet at the end of every day. He also says that your dad was offered a pity handjob from Alison Rapp and he jizzed after 30 seconds and then cried for 15 minutes. They still pass that tape around to this day and laugh at it. Apparently it brought smiles and comfort to Iwata during his dying days.

>alison rapp
Whatever happened to her?

the thing only had like 5 games anyways

More like it won't sell since it had no real games to push it forward beyond a handful of first party titles and the Goldeneye situation is too complicated to allow one of the big sellers being on this as far as the general public is concerned.

The only thing an N64 classic could really do to "wow" people at this point is have an option to link up with the 3DS versions of OG Pokemon games and have Stadium support, but that just expands the library by a game or two.

>Mario 64
>Mario Kart 64
>Mario Party 2 or 3 to avoid bleeding palms
>Pokemon Snap
>OoT
>Majora's Mask
>Star Fox 64
>F-Zero X or maybe vaulted HDD version in English with track editor
>1080 snowboarding for laughs
>MAYBE Waverace
>Pilotwings 64
>Dr. Mario 64

They can get around 10-15 games from first and second parties, but a huge chunk of what defined the system is off limits due to Rare being sold or licensing issues, making it a very hard sale that will be overpriced and overcamped by scalpers due to the poor bastards still thinking Nintendium holds value in this day and age.

>went crazy
>her husband left her
>now a cat lady who lives in filth
>has a patreon where she gives lewd pics to her patrons
Hilarity happened to her.

>My dad works at Nintendo....

Stopped reading.

>has an evercart already
couldn't care less

stupid faggots at nitendo could make them to order and make the demand way bigger than the supply, would make bank but ok whatever notmy PORNBELREM

The N64 controller is the worst and most flimsy thing they ever designed. They should do a GameBoy Color Classic instead. With the classic NES and SNES libraries thrown in with a thousand hour battery time.

Shhh, don't tell the nostalgiababbies.

>cost
>plastic shell around hardware that only needs to emulate games from 3 gens ago
Lolno. It would barely cost them any more than the last two, and they'd offset that by selling it for more anyway, and toddlers would still eat it up.

The Hardware in the Nes/SNes classic is actually around the same power as an NGC, probably more powerful considering it's far far more modern, the NGC could emulate N64 games. You didn't do any research did you?

If Microsoft let Rare develop new games for the Gameboy Advance/ DS, I fail to see why they wouldn't let Nintendo run those games on an N64 Mini.

She has BPD which pretty much led her life down a road of misery. Divorced from her husband and evicted from her apartment, lost her mind at one point and ended up in the hospital.

Don't forget the SNES Mini had DKC, clearly Rare either can't or doesn't block them from using DK property games. So:
>DK64
>DKR
Also, the first two Minis had third party support.
>Capcom
>Konami
>Tecmo
>Technos
>Bamco
>Taito
>Sunsoft
>Square
Were all represented. That leaves open the possibility of:
>Mega Man 64
>Goemon
>Ridge Racer 64
>Namco Museum 64
You also forgot:
>Pokemon Puzzle League
>Kirby 64
>Smash 64
>Excitebike 64
>Paper Mario
>Yoshi 64
Not super impressive but it'd sell.

Diddy Kong Racing has Banjo and Conker in it so that won't make it.
Donkey Kong 64 is ok because Nintendo own all of the characters.

Including Rare games in this list. There's no way that will ever happen

Except it already happened with DKC on the SNES Mini.

where are said lewds?

Adding Rare would only add 5 games anyway.
-Banjo-Kazooie
-Banjo-Tooie
-Jet Force Gemini
-Blast Corps
-Diddy Kong Racing

The others are all M-rated or licensed.
>inb4 "hurr Doom on Switch M-rated doesn't matter"
In does on compilations. Companies don't like having the rating of a compilation game pushed up to M.

My dad is gay and he said they're making it, so there

The gamepad is too zany for today's audience.

I want an N64 Classic and the sales of the NES and SNES Classics no doubt support the hypothesis that an N64 Classic would rake in money, but I can't imagine there being that many games they could put on the thing. NES Classic had 30 games (most of them being shit you'd play for a few minutes before tossing the thing in the closet, implying you could get one), SNES had 21 games, how many N64 games would Nintendo have permission to slap on the new mini console? Also factor in how much more it would be due to requiring bundling each N64 Classic with 4 controllers and you're spending a lot of money for not a lot of games. Keep in mind N64 emulation is still shit after all these years, so even hacking wouldn't do much

>Muh Rare
those bongs can suck a fuck, here's your line-up:

>mario fucking 64
>mario kart
>one of the parties
>kirby
>yoshi story
>smash
>pokemon snap
>puzzle league
>bomberman 64
>zelda
>the other one
>star fox
>rayman 2
>MS PACMAN MAZE MADNESS NIGGA

and then maybe megaman legends or some obscure shit like iggys wrecking balls
whatever, i don't give a shit.

The more obvious choice is the Gameboy classic

>tons of games to put on it
>popular
>nostalgia bait
>don't have to make extra controllers for it
>make it so the gameboy classics can link up wirelessly

I'd buy it. I don't even like Nintendo shit anymore.

>emulating the puke green screen

That shit nearly ruined the Gen 1 Pokemon 3DS VC games for me

>No Rare games

Oh boy, i can't wait to play Mario, Zelda & Nothing else

All of these seem to be likely be on it.

You don't want to see them i.imgur.com/duxj4mT.jpg

No problem, i have 3 64s and 12 controllers along with 62 carts. Think I'll be okay faggot.

>Today's My Dad Works at Nintendo Thread.

Let's get the party started!

>one of the parties
Every true 64 fan knows MP2 is the best MP ever made. Just shut the fuck up and stop pretending. Rare produced many of the finest games on the 64. You're ignorant and wrong.

They could just cheat and do GB color with a DX treatment to the included library and an optional purist shit green for the few taliban who would give a shit.
