>no Indiana Jones World
Plot? I could see that, I suppose.
Gameplay? Nah.
Based indiana poster.
True.
KH2 basically made magic worthless.
>no Treasure Planet World
>KH2 basically made magic worthless.
What are Reflect and Magnet, the two most broken spells in the series?
GIVE ME A KUZCO WORLD
BBS>KH2>KH1
I disagree, but it's alright to think that.
KH1 has a great aesthetic and tone, and it really feels like a stand alone game when help up with the rest of the series. It really would have worked as a one off, and Squaresoft did that thing a lot back in the day
However as far as polish, combat and mechanics go I think it's pretty weak. I like the concept of the world being a bit more open and explorable, but the actual world design is often poor in the first game (Depp Jungle being perhaps the most poorly design world in the series), and the platforming elements are stiff and awkward. Then you're left with the combat which is pretty barebones and simple compared to 2. Not awful, but it's a bit hard to go back to
KH3 is looking like the perfect middle ground IMO. The 0.2 demo had the fairly snappy combat from 2, and the big open worlds with platforming elements from 1

I'll never understand the love for this game, outside of the soundtrack
MY MAN
Is that what I think it is? Fucking kek
>actual level design (not perfect but better than flat corridors) including environmental interactivity and light puzzles
>nowhere near as handholdy (the amount of handholding in KH2 is honestly insulting, invisible barriers block your path constantly, and annoying messages at the top of the screen tell you exactly what to do even if it's obvious)
>weapons you choose and sacrifice at the start of the game have a big impact on your character progression
>more viable builds
>some effort put into worldbuilding (almost every world in KH1 teaches you something about how the Kingdom Hearts universe works, almost nothing of the sort in KH2 and if anything it shits on KH1 lore)
>simpler but more effective story
>way stronger atmosphere
>combat is simpler but has better feedback
>Disney elements are a lot more important
>vanilla KH2 doesn't even have dodge roll
KH1 definitely has some clunkier aspects like the camera, some of the platforming, and the gummi ship, but I prefer it to KH2 overall. Nostalgia plays a factor but I have plenty of nostalgia for KH2 as well. Hell Birth by Sleep is 8 years old. Franchise is getting up in years.
KH 2 FM > KH 1 FM > vanilla KH 1 > vanilla KH 2
I'm almost tempted to put vanilla KH1 above KH1FM because of the retarded amounts of material grind. KH1 had some but Final Mix took it to an extreme.
good
KH1 Vanilla > KH2FM > KH2 Vanilla > KH1FM
>KH1 Vanilla > KH2FM
that's where you're wrong
Nah senpai
Now that's dedication
OP a fucking retard
Would they be able to pull off a world based on a pure comedy film?
