What the hell, is this dude a pseudo-clone?
Also how do I unlock costumes
No, he's the original and Lyn's a clone of him
...
>no ike >no hector >no sothe >no navvare >no eiraka/ephraim
must i go on?
FEW or HW? I know the basics; FEW is supposedly better balance, but the character roster is shit and there are way too many clones.
In HW each character is unique, and there is easily 200 hours of content, but the gameplay is somehow supbar? Does anyone know if either of these games feature the Switching system present in HW Legends? I mean, HW Definitive is dropping next month.
Go on.
Tharja when?
>tfw this spin off shits on dw9.
Minerva is a clone of fucking Camilla too, Linde is the only one with an original moveset and that might change with the release of Tharja, Koei was incredibly lazy with FEW compared to HW.
Robin clone
...
>Tharja will probably be a clone
>Owain is 99% certain to be a Ryouma clone
>Olivia will most likely be the only original character in the next pack
It's actually surprising Oboro and Azura didn't end up as clones of each other since they're both the only non-mounted spear units. I've been holding off on putting too much time into FEW until my boy Owain was playable even if he's a clone, but the DLC has been super disappointing so far.
I'll wait for the definitive edition
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER MY FUCKING QUESTION?
I don't understand what you're asking. Switching system? You mean can you switch characters during the mission? For FEW, yes as long as you included them in the map.
Fuck your question. Shove a cock up your ass.
You mean in terms of whose game debuted first? I guess, I don't play much FE but I was talking about Warriors.
Never played HW so can't help you there. The clone problem is pretty lame but character switching is great, not sure if HW has it.
Get that savage out of my sight.
...
No, in terms of him being removed to be added back in as DLC with Lyn left in with his moveset
Oh.
Well makes sense I guess since she's not in the main story.
That, and Navarre is known for using two swords and Lyn isn't, yet almost all of her attacks involve two swords.
The original Hyrule Warriors didn't let you hotswap between characters, but I thought I remembered hearing that you could in the 3DS version, which means it'll be in the Switch release (assuming that was true to begin with).
Is there a map in History mode that lets me grind for Navarre's materials? I need his stuff for his Opus.
You can do a lot worse than being a clone of Robin, he's a lot of fun, I think Linde is good too.
>mommyposter kills the thread
nice
HOW DO I GET THE DLC COSTUMES
HOW DO I GET ARMOUR BREAK STUFF
You know what would make FEW even better?
It being made into trading cards.
What do you think that free DLC map is for?
I fail to see the problem with this.
I only know you can get the Camilla maid costume on the Grief map.
>tfw just found out you can change the NPC allies to someone else
So you're telling me all this time I could have played as Frederick and not have Cordelia's supports go up for her worthless skill? All this time I could have grinded for armored blow too.
Navarre is in it as DLC.
In the DLC history maps, like one map in KNorda market will have an unlock saying swordmaster, for Lyn's swordmaster costume
Linde not being a clone gives me a slight bit of hope, at least Olivia will be new though
Armour break you need to do th hero battle history map and that will unlock armor bane weapons, then your critical hit will break their armour, and any attack that floors you will break yours
>Lucina doesn't have an opus yet
Guess Corrin and female OC will be my designated swords then
I still believe the only reason we got two clones in the SD pack is that Lyn was never meant to be in the game in the first place and thus Tharja will be unique.
HW has them all play differently, except for the master sword which is just an upgraded version of Links reg sword + shield plus beam attacks.
As for the gameplay:
Original HW didn't allow switching and so you would spent a lot of time in adventure mode chipping away at somebody with dark resistance whilst you were stuck being Dorf or Zant.
Giant bosses involved waiting until they did 1-2 specific moves and could ruin your time ranking for adenture maps, especially the imprisoned (although that was fixed in HW 3DS)
Also the damage rank was a lot more stringent in HW than in FEW.
>Awakening character getting an opus outside of the awakening dlc.
Also why Corrin or Lyn, Navarre, Xander, or Ryoma, as they all seem much better for handling mobs and officers
FEW if you want better gameplay
Hyrule Warriors if you want more varied units
If you haven't got Paragon on all characters Marth is a good pick too. Same for Ryoma and Astra (also do note Corrin absolutely needs Astra to be bearable).
Because i like her design more than them.
Astra is a required skill on absolutely everyone either way. Corrin seems alright other than some of her animations taking too long which astra will likely fix either way.
I hate Marth's moveset since he always jumps way over his targets
>Corrin's entire moveset
God what were they thinking, it's terrible. Also her lines get extremely grating very quickly compared to others.
If you want to- if you want- if you want to fight, let's- IN THE NAME OF PEACE
Xander, the Wyverns and the Myrmidons are fine as they are, no need for Astra.
>playing with the dub
Nobody to blame but yourself. Also I'm not sure why people like Snake Corrin, Yuri sounded way more natural.
Corrin's voice isn't really the problem since I'm acually fine with how she sounds and with a lot of the dub. It's just her shitty lines that really get to me when all the others don't even really stand out.
>Also I'm not sure why people like Snake Corrin, Yuri sounded way more natural.
This I can agree with though, it doesn't help Cam Clarke's deliver is painfully shit in this game.
>Upgrade time!
>Mute TV
You can turn off the confirmation prompt now you know. It's at the bottom of the game options menu, somewhere below language selection.
Not having to listen to the voice lines or confirm greatly speeds up the process.
FEW is clone central. HW will always be superior.
There are literally no skills worth taking over astra unless you simply haven't gotten enough lobster essence to give it to the characters you're playing
>grind tiki to level 99
>tfw no money to buy levels
This is gonna sound stupid but is it possible to get through one of Anna's map at around level 60? I just wanna get Anna and her money skill.
>around level 60
That's when I did it. As long as you're okay with not getting an S-rank you'll be fine, because you will either go over time or take unreasonable amounts of damage if you get hit.
The dub was really shit, Hinoka's was an abomination.
I'm fine with most dubs 80% of the time but this was one of the shittier ones, which is weird cause i thought most of them were fine in Fates/Awakening/Heroes
I wish Oboro was a bit better, as much as I prefer using her she's definitely less effective than the pegs
My main complaint with HW was the grind and how ridiculously hard some of those maps got, adventure mode was fun but the map felt way too big and got repetitive after a while. Still fucking love HW, Ganondorf and Twili Midna were fun as fuck to play as.
FEW has been easy as fuck aside from that one Fates history map where you fight the Birthright crew and a buffed/upgraded class Ryoma has a clear path to your base to kill it in seconds.
I prefer using Oboro over the flyers, they tend to go all over the place when I use them, maybe I'm just shit at them though.
>have Lucina as designated OP unit to do annoying mundane stuff
>her weapon doesn't get a super buff
Pegasus riders have a lot more forward momentum in their attack string compared to the ground-based lancers. I also feel like Oboro's C5 is one of the most broken in the entire game and makes her C6 look lame by comparison.
>MVP
>Rowan
he didnt do anything!
Brave weapon and slap some abilities on?
Farm B Supports with him + Bond Charm in Ch. 14/15/20 (20 for materials) and you get 1 Silver and 1 Gold. You'll want to farm Lone Wolf on everyone as well if you like or dislike Solidarity + Pair Up+.
Otherwise,
docs.google.com
History Mode > A Brush in the Teeth > Warriors of Conviction Lv. 110 (Anna, Shadow Dragon DLC Complete Picture)
After Sakura and Niles escape, Sorcerors that infinitely spawn Xander, Navarre, and Minerva appear as long as you don't kill them.
Ch. 20 is always a solid option, as you get 2 kills of the 3 playable units you deploy besides the lead. If you began with Lianna, however, you have to deploy her and meet up with her Shadow to spawn the second sec.
Chrom and Lucina are getting their Opus in the March Awakening DLC; Shadow Dragon had too little reps, and that's why Rowan, Lianna, Anna, Celica, and Lyn got theirs now than later.
Robin, Lissa, Frederick, and Cordelia are also getting their Prfs + Opus; Thoron, Lissa's Axe, Frederick's Axe, and Gungnir, respectively. And whatever for Tharja, Olivia, and Owain.
Really, the game is easy enough with just 240 Mt and enough damage stacking.
>Astra
>Lck +20
>Luna
>Lethality
>Lone Wolf / Solidarity + Pair Up+
>2 -slayers (Parallel Falchion has Dracoslayer)
>1 -breaker
>a Boost skill if not Pair Up+
>Critical Focus
Divine Favor is overkill.
>Select Camp
>Rowan
>Exit Camp
Same with Takumi and Azura
Is she not? Her crowdwork leaves a bit to be desired, but against officers she seems to be really good
There is a reason why FEW appears to be easier than HW to the ones who bought it at launch: Before the patch that added Hero Challenge the last played difficulty in the story impacted drops, money and experience gained in history maps. So if you played a stage on hard (for the second memento) you would get 1.5 exp and money on every history mode stage you played afterwards (and double exp and money if you last played a lunatic stage)
This is why in the first months lots of players ended up with maxed money and multiple level 99 characters
I'm always disappointed whenever it's not Leo or Chrom at camp.
Damn, that sounds good for a quick grind but thankfully the level grind is fast, especially Tiki with the exp blessing on chapter 19 in lunatic.
Another easy thing I find in FEW is that history mode foes are just easy, unless you're severely low level, captain units don't melt you in several blows like they did in HW.
One stand out in HW for me was doing Darunia's tier 3 weapon level, I was a bit above the recommended level, buffed with badges but captain units still would annihilate my health like it was nothing and the captains and the enemy characters, like Link would take forever to kill or would have a resilient weak point gauge.
>tfw you wanted Soleil as dlc for upskirt and broken armour opportunities
You fucking wish her panties looked that good
I'm so fucking mad about armor strike, way to go "we want the senran crowd" and then puss out halfway when Fire Emblem has never shyed away from bikinis before
It's shit with the flying units though, they're still on their mounts in the model viewer so you can't get a good look.
That's boldly optimistic as I would assume Severa would get in before her, even if they didn't shit up the Fates choices.
Personally I was hoping for Noire as a mounted bowman, so I could at least pretend Lester or Rath was there.
>Never shied away from bikinis
>Tharja's American butt curtain
I doubt they'll add any more dlc after the Awakening pack but would have liked Soleil to have been part of the fates pack
There might be a second season pass depending on how it's done so far, as I can't imagine it's a huge effort if they can do the awakening pack in a month, but I think it might focus on other games, although leaving Ike and other big guns for a potential sequel
