What was the last game you pre-ordered, Sup Forums?

What was the last game you pre-ordered, Sup Forums?
mine was Metal Gear V
and I don't regret it

breath of the wild
was totally worth it just to experience the surprises in the game without being spoiled by anyone literally played it for a month straight and had a blast

mass effect 3
never again

monster hunter world
I don't regret it one bit

Pre-ordered the CE for MGSV.
Don't regret it but I never finished it either.
Also DOAX3 CE.
I just like CE's.

this

Fallout 4. I was very let down. Haven’t pre ordered since

monster hunter world

I think it was the FFXIV expansion last year

Total War Warhammer II
Yeah, I regret it.
Was thinking about not preordering anything until Cyberpunk 2077, but after seeing how shitty is CDPR at patching stuff and the disappointment of WH II, never again.

The N. Sane Trilogy. It was meh. The originals played better.

Thief 4.

I think I was just excited that an actual Thief game was coming out, and I thought it wouldn't be that bad. It was

mass effect andromeda

Wasn't a preorder, but I bought New Vegas day 1. Physical copy, on a console. And it is the most played game for me by this day.

Yakuza Kiwami

t. barely triple digit IQ

says the memer

Brink. It will remain the last.

MG Survive
Sword Art Faggot Bullet
Monster Hunter World
FIGHTAZ
Bayonetta 1/2
Hello Neighbor
Shadow of the Colassus

(In all these cases it's a day or two before the release.)

Yakuza 6.

I've never pre-ordered a game because I'm not retarded.

Dark Souls 2 CE was my first and last pre-order.
Almost pre-odered Odin Sphere's CE but I decided against it.

Skyward Sword.
Still use the golden controller too.

Farming Simulator 19 Collector's Edition.
The last game to be released which I preordered (not counting early access games) though was Spintires: Mudrunner.

Pillars of Eternity 2. Its two more month to wait.

>this
Only took me a couple hours of in-game time to know I had fucked up but it was too late and couldn't get a refund

Only have the first one. Whats wrong with the second?

Dynasty Warriors 9.

I regret it.

MGSV as well.

Told myself if the game wasn’t perfect, I’d never preorder again.

And I never have.

Nowthing wrong with the game in particular, is just your usual Total war shitshow. No point in paying 60 bucks for a game and having to wait for patches and patches and FLCs and whatnot...
Better to wait a year and get a complete game for half the price.
Also, the launch was a complete shitshow.
Performance was shit (Still is. In fact, Tomb Kings fucked up the shadows again), the units were buggy as fuck (they would forget your orders mid battle and stay there doing nothing, enjoying the views), the autoresolve balance was hilarious (Still is. In the past Dwarves would win 90% of the time, now they lose 90% of the time, so same shit, just green colour instead of blu. Also, autoresolve will always kill some of most valuable units for ''reasons'').
Also, Norsca not included in the ME release. And it took them months to accept that they fucked it up and they wouldn't add them until at least another 4 months or so.

Evil Within 2.
Considering I would've bought it no matter what (which is what I do with all my pre-orders), I'd say it was worth it.

Shadow of the Colossus. It was a lot of fun.

hokuto ga gotoku premium edition

Gran Turismo Sport
It's like I bought an unpolished diamond that needs to be in the specialist for some years until it's a masterpiece.

>preordering
>ever
You get my money when I get the game.

yeah that's how preordering works in most places they don't charge you shit until they ship it to you if it's online
or until you go into the store and ask for it

>yeah that's how preordering works in most places
You mean, how it used to, years ago.

nope literally pre ordered yakuza 6 on amazon and still haven't been charged
and i've pre ordered hokuto ga gotoku on playasia just yesterday and haven't been charged

Now that I think of it the last (and maybe the only) game I preordered was also MGSV, and only did it because I had almost a hundred euros in steam for selling a knife I unboxed in cs:go.
Don't regret it either, I put in 150hours during just the first playthrough.

This rotten piece of shit. Gave into the hype and decided it'd be worth it. It was bad enough to turn me off from preordering for good.

Dark Souls 3. I even bought the season pass early. I don't regret the initial purchase but I probably could have waited on the season pass.

i pre ordered world of warcraft battle for azeroth with money i earned from converting in game gold

ahahahhaha xDD

No man's sky
While I think preordering was pointless I enjoyed the game.

Borderlands 2. Even after having all Level 72 characters, I still fire up that bad boy from times

Battlefield 3

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 CE, awesome game. I've been thinking about preordering the Yakuza 6 collectors edition too.

I wish they'd make a normal difficulty perma death mode, I'm too casual that hard mode shit lol

Does supporting the Bug Fables campaign count? Then I guess that one.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution collector's edition

Same here. It really destroyed my hope in video games. Never been hyped again for a game.

Did you get what you asked for?

I'm the opposite, don't give a shit about perma death or the trophy for it. I liked the adjusted difficulty as in normal I was never killed by anything but hard mode actually made creatures scary, but thet increased material costs so much is was just insane.

>but thet increased material costs so much is was just insane.
Actually yeah, this is what gets me
I probably played 10 lives before ever taking off from my ship for the first time.

Fate/Extella Link. I loved the first one and can't wait for this one.

Destiny 2
I don't regret it but it got boring to me after November

Puyo Puyo Tetris on steam.

I doubt ill regret it.
