Tfw I spend my time upgrading the engineer's teleporters and none of them place an exit by the time I switch
...
never gets old
I wish playing engi was this fun
Engineer needs a rework
>try to maintain a tele from spawn to the front lines but none of your teammates bother to spy check around spawn despite you asking, so you keep having to break sappers until you just give up
>2018
>Still playing TF2
Indeed. One of the most replayable games out there.
Maybe up to '16, it got bad pretty quickly from then on.
>get all set up
>Friendly engie sets up right next to you and steals the metal for his own shit then runs off and gets chased back to 'our' nest luring back a team now FULLY aware of our sentry placement
DAG NABBIT BOY GIT YOUR OWN SPACE
I thank valve for the meet your match update.
I was playing too much TF2 and that was so bad it made me quit the game.
Nope, that's flat out wrong. The core game is still the best FPS on the market.
It's funny how throughout the years that the point in which tf2 got bad also increases. Hats, mannconomy, f2p, end of the line, tough break. You sure you just didn't get tired of it?
Hey Sup Forums,
yore
ugleh
AUGH
fuck yourself
im pyro main and i fucking hate engies especially at the end of goldrush and swiftwater
fucking annoying cunts
Holy shit what a fucking gamer
No, it used to be, and fundamentally is still a good contender, but they're running it into the ground.
Older updates did all add something that had a somewhat negative effect, but Tough Break was where it started to get bad, and it's gotten progressively worse since then.
Contracts take people's attention away from actually playing the game, or least of all, working as a team.
'Competitive' and the casual matchmaking it garbage now, and the removal of Valve servers from the server browser is a net loss overall.
There's also the constant addition of dreadful items, pic related, that completed alter the play style/ability of a class with very little skill needed.
I used to play the shit out of this game and bloody love it, but it doesn't even feel like TF2 anymore. I didn't tire of it, the game changed.
Also, Pyro is still in the game.
...
I am the pyBRO.
I use the degreaser and the Maul/Homewrecker so that I can knock away rappers in my way to the front lines. I try my best not to call for medics so they can focus on others. I do my best to light huntsman arrows and with last teammates on fire. I will gladly sacrifice myself just so I can knock around that ubercharged Heavy and keep him from the engi nest. I try to pick the best flank routes so that I can push players towards my team.
I have always believed that the Pyro isn't about leading the charge and weakening ranks, it's about getting your teammates where they need to be.
You seem like the most annoying type of Pyro to play against, it's almost like you have ideas or something!
Whenever I try homewrecker, all of my Engies are dreadful or oblivious.
>No, it used to be, and fundamentally is still a good contender, but they're running it into the ground.
Nope, it still is BY FAR the best fps, and they have detracted from the game in some areas but also improved it in other areas, they're not "running it into the ground" they're just inconsistent.
>playing tf2 over tfc
fucking steambabies
Best based on what?
Replayability to the tune of thousands of hours, high skill ceiling, great game design, sheer amount of content on offer, good dialogue, good character design, good world design, good music (even if it only really plays a role in menus), entertaining story that ties into the game; basically tf2 has something for everyone
TF2 is the best all-around FPS, now go shitpost somewhere else
>im a pyro main
>a pyro spends all game defending your nest
