I just started playing Nier Automata for the first time and i'm loving it but the game isn't very clear on upgrading, weapons and pod stuff

Can I just use whatever weapon I like or is there no point in that giant beast sword for example

Stop laying nier and go play a good game instead.

No

that game is shit i stopped playing it when i started 9s

Nice blog m8

Upgrade your memory first, it's the most important thing in the game.
Pod programs come as second.
Also find additional Pods.
You can just use 2B's base weapons for the first playthrough, only start experimenting on route B when you gather more resources. The different thing about them is unique level 4 upgrade.

I really want to play through this game again, but normal is far too easy, and hard is too hard.

Play on easy

Play on normal but without OP chips.

>double tap to dodge with no option to change it
FUCKING WHY

>ywn make that porcelain throat bulge

It already has a bulge.
There's one down below, too.

>PC
top lol

The main reason to collect and upgrade all the weapons is for the little stories in them

>Using KB+M for this game

retard

>what is being able to use any controller in existence

Even bigger retard

Yes, you can use whatever weapon, it's not complicated

The only stats weapon have is their damage and passive abilities

Not my fault the devs are incompetent and can't port games properly.

It's also not their fault when retards like you refuse to admit that some games are better played with a controller instead of KB+M.

True, but this is not one of those games.

Hack & Slash are much better with controller user.

and there I was actually considering buying this game, good to know it has shit controls, gonna miss it

Just use the weapon combination you like. As long as you keep them upgraded, they all hit for pretty much the same damage.

pipe and yorha greatsword is best combo

No one's loss but yours, no ones cares
