3ds is just my smash machine until Nintendo decides to throw it on the switch as well. then I might get a switch for smash.

Its had a long life, more than any handheld deserves, really.

Nobody's can guarantee that 3DS Will be in a future Direct, the true is last one was on september...SIX months ago, and Nintendo Direct mini was Switch only. Point is Nintendo don't have any content to show for 3DS to make a direct.

I've basically felt this way about it for basically the last 2-3 years. But then again I never gave a shit about Capcom and Square. Hell, even the good first party games that are worthwhile are the exception rather than the norm (like Metroid.) And there's very rarely anything creative or experimental. So much of these guys playing it safe. And even Atlus isn't immune to it with EO and SMT having huge regressions when they first hit the system.

I really was hopping to see Theatrhythm Dragon Quest release outside Japan. I blame SE and the stupid decision to don't bring it alongside Monster Jocker 3 and DQ XI.

Of course they have, Switch is their priority but there's definitely more content and games coming, this was confirmed by Kimishima, also 3DS had one of their best holidays and January ever

I really want a new 2DS XL because I have so many games I want to finish on my launch 3DS but the R trigger is busted, I can't buy Samus Returns or play a large majority of my games except for simple platformers and some JRPGs. I'm too poor to actually afford one so I just want to die.

The DS was superior to the 3DS, in my opinion. My 3DS just collected dust, despite being hacked. I played my DS almost every night.
