What the fuck was his problem?

What the fuck was his problem?

Mommy issues

He was a clone.

Didn't he go insane?

There you go, can't make sense of an insane person's mind

He threw his life away because he thought he and Jenova were ancients, upon learning the truth he realized he could never go back, but he was still stuck in the Lifestream wishing for death, realizing he had control over Jenova cells, he set out to grieve the world until he was put out of his misery, he happened upon Cloud while trying to antagonize the Shinra corporation and the rest is in the game.

No gf will make a man go insane.

Couldn't handle that he was a monster aids baby. Total pussy.

...

Did all of that happen in Crisis Core?

/thread

i played this in 97 and have returned to it occasionally throughout the years and i still dont get what happened. there was a thread a few days ago explaining why he was in the northern crater the entire time meanwhile jenova was manipulating all of the events using clones/apparitions and shit throughout the events cloud and friends experience.

Jenova took over his mind. Hojo was basically the catalyst behind the whole story and doesn't ever get enough credit.

wtf why would you do that to someone with cancer?

I played it too and didn't undertstand, and mostly just skipped the dialogue. So I just read the wikia at a later date to understand. No, Jenova has been dead for a thousand years and never did anything throughout the story. Sephiroth has the power to control Jenova cells, which is how he changed Jenova's body into being a look alike of himself that you chase throughout the game while his real body is at north crater.

God, I wish that were me.

I really wish this guy would finish these pictures.

>that whole thing

The only cool one is Blackiroth. The rest come off as a cheap attempt at appropriation.

>Barrett being full I didn't ask for this

Niggaroth is unironically a fantastic design. Would be 10/10 villain

People shit on the Sonic fanbase but the sort of autistic zealotry this game inspired when it was new was way more intense than anything seen before or since.

wow, accurate answer in 4 posts.

Sephiroth is the least interesting individual in FF7. It's quite a accomplishment, Cloud is the most interesting by far.

Jenova aint do shit.

>upon learning the truth he realized he could never go back, but he was still stuck in the Lifestream wishing for death, realizing he had control over Jenova cells,

When did he ever learn the truth? When he kills President Shinra, he says Shinra will never get the Cetra's promised land, that sounds like he still believes he is a Cetra.
