Let me tell you about a little game by the name of mothafuckin Ore no Ryouri. Anyone who bought those little Jampack demo discs might remember this being packaged as a Import demo. If any of you have ever played Cook Serve Delicious, this game was the inspiration.

It's worth noting that while the PS1 version of Silhouette Mirage is great, it's still vastly inferior to the Saturn version. However, Saturn emulation is a pain in the ass (last I checked, anyway) so the PS1 version is arguably more accessible.

Actual massive third party support rather than modern gen 8 "lol we have tons of 3rd party support look at these 20 companies that each made us 1 game!" and back then there were more devs churning out full length games, which has largely been replaced by indie devs making 2 hour long games due to the AAA budget meme fucking over gaming.
