That fights easy if you approach it strategically. Just spread your teammates out so they avoid being one shot as a group. If have an archer who is built right, they can kill her on their turn alone because of huntsman bonuses, piercing damage, and the execution talent.

I beat all the classics like BG and NWN and beat PoE1 for the stories, hated every one of them gameplay-wise. RTwP is literally for people who are too casual to play RTS but don't want to be grouped with Turn-based players.

because it is. One of the best RPGs ever made, instant classic up there with the greats. Just fucking buy it even if you know nothing about the series (and those are all mostly great games too, Beyond Divinity and Dragon Commander and original unpatched Divinity 2[which is not Original Sin 2] are rough around the edges but worth playing)

U wot m8, DOS2 is super easy. It's fun because of the creative environmental interactions and character builds.

It's and isometric camera freely controlled by the mouse what's not to like? You could play it super zoomed in for an over the shoulder style and there's even controller support if you're that kind of faggot
