but we already played this
Only 20 million, I thought it would be more. I bought 3 copies and I'm just 1 person, there's 6 billion other people
Soon the MSM will retroactively give the Black Panther treatment to Revolution 60 or ME:A.
THEN where will your cis, het, white, male God be, BIGOT??
and like 5 billion of those don't have access to the internet
stop living in a bubble, QOL such as in the west is barely visible in MOST of the world
The mcdonalds of video games. Bad for you, not tasty, sells a lot.
The contratard poster of the Sup Forums, retarded, autistic and loves cock.
>5 billion
China Russia and India have access and they must make up 3 billion between them so at least half the world could buy it, there's no way in the entire world including UK and USA it only sold 20 million
the paranoid alt-right strikes again for no reason whatsoever
Nigga there's 8 billion people on earth not 6 billion where the fuck are you getting your numbers
Holocaust memorials.
>Skyrim was nearly 7 years ago
>There are probably now people that are allowed to post on Sup Forums that have childhood nostalgia over it
I've never played skyrim
it's probably double that because everyone i know pirated it and i know the pirate scene for this game was huge
Last time I checked it was 6 billion and people say over population isn't an issue
i'm 22 in 3 days and i got this game on day 1 of release when i was around 15
>Russia
>144 million people
>Russia has 1/3rd the population of the USA but feels compelled to mention it because he thinks it's overflowing with peasants like the other two countries mentioned
I pirated Fallout 4, Todd
I still want my money and time back
like 2/3rds of russia is a snowy wasteland where nobody lives. it's huge but only 1/3rd of russia is actually populated. siberia or whatever it's called makes up the rest
happy birthday
"What other the other 19?" user asked, disregarding the simplicity of googling it himself
I was 19 when Skyrim came out, and I while I still haven't played it, I vaguely remember being on Sup Forums around the time that it came out. I can't really remember what people on Sup Forums thought of Skyrim back then, though.
>20 million
???
PC version alone has 11mil+6mil
this must be old news
thanks
Hi Todd.
You can write a book on what's awful about Skyrim, op.
>and like 5 billion of those don't have access to the internet
what are you even on about
I have a question about something. There's an old meme stuck in my head, think it was "1:20 HORSES CONFIRMED" or something like that. I get the feeling that it was a reaction to one of the Skyrim trailers. Was it?
i spent like 2 hours in skyrim before deciding i hated it
i remember Sup Forums used to shit on oblivion all the time for whatever reason and then skyrim came out and suddenly everyone loved oblivion and hated skyrim. i think in reality though (shitposting aside) most people enjoyed skyrim even if it was flawed. after the modding scene came out it was one of the most talked about games for a long while. constant threads all the time. people used to take the piss out of me when i used to mention i owned it on the xbox 360 which was probably a good thing because i bought the pc version soon after to experience the modding scene
PUBG has sold 32 million copies in less than a year.
Todd BTFO.
>and like 5 billion of those don't have access to the internet
Hahahaha what?
>As of June 2017, 51% of the world's population has internet access.[1] In 2015, the International Telecommunication Union estimated about 3.2 billion people, or almost half of the world's population, would be online by the end of the year. Of them, about 2 billion would be from developing countries, including 89 million from least developed countries.[2][3]
I'm a complete newfag, so I think I only started going on Sup Forums in early 2011, back when Sup Forums was shitposting about Dragon Age 2. One thing I do remember is how people on Sup Forums got mad about that "Arrow to the knee" meme.
PUBG is half the price so in reality it sold 16 million
>In November 2016, Howard confirmed that Skyrim had sold 30 million copies since its release in 2011
>PUBG is half the price so in reality it sold 16 million
That's not how it works. This isn't a measure of "which game made more money", it's about which sold more copies.
PUBG has also never had a sale of more than 10% discount, Skyrim has gone on sale a fuckton of times.
It also hasn't been out for over six years and released across like a dozen different platforms, with remasters and other bullshit as well.
why does nobody stops the king of lies?
>release game on every platform for multiple generations
>WHOA BEST SELLER SO IMPRESSIVE
>mad
>Todd
>30 million copies in 5 years
>32 million in 11 months
>Within two days of the game's launch, 3.4 million physical copies were sold. Of those sales, 59% were for the Xbox 360, 27% for the PS3, and 14% for the PC.
oh wow and here i was thinking i was a minority for buying it on the xbox 360 initially. this could never happen again though. the next elder scrolls game will probably sell way more on pc than on consoles in the intial stages as pc gaming is so much more mainstream now
That's also just including the PC sales. PUBG has sold another 3 million on Xbox One, so it's over 35 million copies sold. In less than a year. Without remasters, discounts, etc.
I'm assuming there's a joke here about how it is the top 20 best selling games because it's been re-released 20 times? That's the reason for the weird wording right?
>"Arrow to the knee" meme.
literally Sup Forums tier meme that can fuck right off
i'll never understand
played it for a few hours then uninstalled
that wasn't that long after release
by now it's over 30m
i'm worried about what he's going to do with the next instalment. he's already fucked up fallout 4 and basically killed that series for the forseeable future. i dread to think what he had planned for elder scrolls 6
What's next Todd, Skyrim in 2D ?
>Skyrim is king
of mediocre dumbed down role playing games.
Try being here since '06
I barely recognize this site between Moot leaving, it becoming full of causal faggots, and Cringy Reddit fags.
We need a new old Sup Forums.
Reminder that despite being poised and shilled as the GOTY, Skyward Sword was completely anally annihilated by Skyrim on the night of VGA 2011. People are looking down on Skyrim too much now.
So that's explicitly saying that 3.8 billion people are ON the internet, or just that they have the infrastructure there to access it?
Semantics, user, they are either online or too fucking poor to use it.
>everything that's not USA or yurop is living in dirt huts tier poor
...
>putting words in my mouth
Too bad you can't draw the connection between internet and wealth, user
>too much now
They have since day one new friend.
...
>QOL such as in the west is barely visible in MOST of the world
>or too fucking poor to use it.
Having internet access is not some super expensive advanced technology only available in high tech countries, it's available everywhere except the poorest of places
>I barely recognize this site
I feel the same way these days, even though I've only been here since 2011. I remember that Sup Forums wasn't obsessed with political drama back in 2011 then like it is now.
It's like a 4th level derivative tech that outright cannot exist without the infrastructure to support it, let alone requiring these sub$2 per day people to afford their end's tech to access it.
Truth is "having access" doesn't mean actively online, it just means that they could prospectively connect to it. The terminology is vague and not at all grounded in reality.
How many times has Syrim been released? I'm thinking 7. No exaggeration.
MOOT was a faggot but at least he kept the site fun and controlled. Sure, he was massive CUKC but not as bad as Hirowjew and his mods
I have late teenage nostalgia over it. Not for the game itself (I have been playing older online games from my childhood with no problem) but rather for the wasted years of college.
I feel that, despite being some of my best years, I squandered the potential of them being 10/10 and instead I get stucked with a 6.5/10. I could have started to get fit, not spend my time and money in car classes that ended up in fucking nothing and in the end do shit that I wanted that now I won't be able to. To add salt to the wound after I graduated everything went slowly downhill and I'm not sure if it will get better.
Sup Forums is not to blame in this case tho, as I began browsing this page barely 4 years ago,and ironically has become one of my last getaways from long work days, loneliness and stress in general.
Of course it is. The Elder Scrolls™ V: Skyrim is indisputably one of the best games ever released, if not the best.
>Sup Forums is not to blame in this case tho, as I began browsing this page barely 4 years ago,and ironically has become one of my last getaways from long work days, loneliness and stress in general.
I started going on Sup Forums around 2011. I do have some fond memories of this place, mainly from 2011 and 2012, but I would say that I probably would have been better off if I didn't come here.
Normal edition: PS3, X360, PS4, XONE, PC
Enhanced Edition: PS4, XONE, PC
VR EDITION: PS4
You even underestimated it.
There's a gigantic gap between chinese in big cities and the rest of the population
It was inevitable. Bitter angry virgins will eventually blame the world.
Am i the only one who doesn't enjoy the game
I kind of miss the times of "Sup Forums culture" these days, because back then I remember doing fun stuff with Sup Forums like Ace of Spades and Synchtube.
Which version? Or all together?
Just because people bought it, doesnt mean they liked it. You arent the only one
kek
you must be king of brainlets to enjoy this "gameplay"
