This is the worst DLC of all time

This is the worst DLC of all time.

That isn't The Ringed City

This isn't any The Sims DLC ever.

At least it was 'fore I fucked errythan' up

Didn't get enough replies yesterday?

That's not Horse Armor.

No I won't stop until Sup Forums agrees with me

Yeah you said that yesterday.

I'll keep saying it until I beat this bullshit unfair pile of crap

Still didn't play any of the DLC.
And I probably won't after playing the fuck out of Nioh. It's too hard to comeback to shitty clunky souls combat after this.

Everything that wasn't the big open areas was great, sadly at least half the DLC is just open snowland like they were too lazy to actually create a level out of it.

B-buh muh dark souls 2!!!!

A lot of it was really good. Added tons of new cool weapons and a few really nice armor sets. A lot of the enemy types were unique and fun to fight. The area looked nice.

The problem is there's too much massive, open space and, paired with it being a pretty short DLC, makes it feel very limited and underwhelming.

Then there's the bosses... one is way too easy and underwhelming, and the other is awesome but feels too sloppy and cheap... and has one life bar too many.

When it's good, it's really good though. Corvian Village in particular is fantastic.

TOH>TRC=AotA>>AoA>>>Iron >> Ivory >>>>>> Sunken

Ivory should automatically be the worst since Frigid Outskirts as been proven to cause terminal cancer.

Sunken is great, it just doesn't have as much content as it should have. As much as I love Eleum Loyce, Ivory Crown is easily the worst DLC in any Souls game, even excluding Frigid Outskirts entirely.

The big problem with the DS2 DLC's is they lack a sense of life. Very few NPCs to talk to, very little personality and no sense of story presence. They just felt like more areas added on.

The other DLC's, however... felt like true expansions, with an actual sense of story, a world, and NPC's. They had a certain life, a certain presence to them that almost made them feel like self-contained games.

Though I'd argue AoA benefits most from this when paired with TRC. Since they tie together directly, they feel best when thought of as a continuous, single expansion.

I really liked the look and exploration of the sunken city, the monsters sucked though.

The Sanctum Knights were pretty cool, I thought. I always wanted to see an enemy that looks like the phantoms you see of other players running around, and I love the idea that you can't fight them very practically until you find and destroy their armor.

Drakebloods are classic. The Imperfect were a neat idea but annoying to fight. The rest of the enemies were serviceable but nothing special.

Two of the three bosses were great.

>He thinks this is the worst DLC of all time
That title will always be held by Infamous: SS's goddamn fucking Papertrail free 'dlc'

Nah. AoA is worst.
Constantly making bad references and too short.

AoA has great level design minus the terrible giant forest full of wolves. Corvian Village is one of the best areas in the series, the mountainside is fun and makes the wolves actually not shitty, and the fly pit was creepy as fuck. Also added a lot of great equipment, and most of the enemies were unique and enjoyable to fight.

It IS short and the bosses leave a lot to be desired, though.

This DLC was so shit I didn't even bother buying the ringed shitty. Souls games are dead to me, from are hacks.

>all that shit you had to do
>get boring backstory on some fuckin bitch whatever
>NO PAPER POWER

What are you having trouble with? Maybe we can help you.

kys

WE WUZ DLC

I liked TRC more since Midir and Gael are better than any TOH bosses.

DS2 had the best DLC's with gigantic new areas to explore filled to the brim with secrets, new enemies, tons of bosses, unique architecture, and beautiful vistas, but Sup Forums tries to pretend it has nothing going for it and prefers the linear DS1 and DS3 DLC bullshit.

That's the most disappointing one

>tfw you didn't get Paper Power
GOD DAMN IT SUCKER PUNCH YOU HAD ONE JOB

> paper power
it's useless. You can't harm anyone with paper, moron

not even close

The dlcs have the same issues as the main game of being difficult for the difficulties sake. Having hordes of enemies who always sneak up on you, or having a few ranged enemies that will attack you from god knows where. The areas look mostly like shit as almost everything DaS2. The bosses are alright at best
>ganksquad
>witch summoning npc enemies or velstadt
>poison dragon that is almost constantly flying
>Knight with 2 swords that can be beaten by circlestrive
>Knight with Katana that can be beaten by circlestrive
>smelter demon (blue)
>cat
>2cat
>Ivory King with that stupid 5v4 fight, other than that he is a good one

beats DS1 and DS3, where their only highlights were the bosses.

most people who post shit here have never finished the DS2 DLC

/thread

I liked Manus and the DaS3 DLC bosses (except for the gravekeeper) more. I also enjoyed exploring Oolacile more than anything in the DaS2 DLCs, but that's just my opinion my dude.

>fags proving that they spend every day here

>everyday the same post meme so funny

I thought Ringed City was pretty great up until the ending. I'm sad that they just went with the "what could it all meeeeeean" shit again without giving us a proper ending while also doing basically nothing with the Dark Soul itself, though i guess i just expected too much

cleary you haven't play destiny 2 "dlc" so no

>Ashes above anything

fuck you!!!!!

dead money exist, user

Horse armor was. Everyone was so annoyed with this paid dlc shit back then. Now look at us...

>ass crest shield
>onii-chan and ungabunga
>great magic weapon AND carthus flame arc
disgusting
absolutely disgusting

You can both fucking bite me. Eleum Loyce had not only the best individual areas of the 3 DLCs but BY FAR the most exploration between bonfires. Fucking HUGE areas after melting the ice and going after the Loyce Knights. There's entire areas that open up and take you further into the city to find the remaning Loyce Knights and jesus christ every part looks different than the last and has engaging encounter design. it is the most cozy set of areas in the entire series, coupled with an encore appearance from best assassin, and a few cool items and rings.

It was fucking everything Ringed City Streets should've been.

>Implying Sultry Dominatrix Nun and The Soup Gimp isn't one of the greatest fights in the series

>Lady Maria with 3 health bar mandatory death run bullshit
>Best anything

>Let's throw the DS2 lovers a bone and bring in some fanservice for them with the last DLC
>EARTHEN FUCKING PEAK

I know A-team fromsoft rather execute damnatio memoriae on everything related to 2 but come the fuck on, there where better locations to choose from.

Trc is so shit though

>It's another NPC in Havel's fight
>This time he has friends

There“s like five of them throughout the series

(You)

Wasn't this thread made yesterday

It's like those general autists who have to post the same shitty picture & quote every thread else they die

>DS2 had the best DLC's

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... ahhh.

Holy fuck, Dark Souls 2 fags are honestly the worst.
It's like listening to someone calling Skyward Sword the best Zelda.

best souls boss of all time desu

This thread is made everyday

Please, Dark Souls 2 level design is pure trash, similarly it was in the DLC.
The one memorable moment was the invisible ladders, everything else was basically a death corridor.

They knew a reworked Drangleic Castle or Heide would get our dicks hard. They just decided to give us the final middle finger.

I swear to god, the community turned retarded after Dark Souls released on PC.

friede was the only decent thing about it, every thing else was so ass

Name one bad thing about the DLC level designs.

Has thw best boss in the game though. Friede is great. She's like a DMC duel boss

frigid outskirts

I never got this. Isn't Dark Souls 2 supposed to be the final one in the timeline? If not, where the fuck was Anor Londo in that game?

>The Ringed City
>don't get to explore the city

>he wanted to explore more of the ringed city
>after Harald St.
No thank you.

No, this is the worst DLC of all time

but Ariandel had the Spike Spiegel of videogames

The biggest bummers are

>Frigid Outskirts
>Cave of The Dead
>Iron Passage

Trash murder corridors, the EPITOME of "hard means good" LE PREPARE TO LE DIE Xddd bullshit the Bandai Namco marketing spewed.
It's Dark Souls at its worst.

The DLC's as a whole are just the fucking worst, reused bosses (LMAO 2 CAT and Cool Ranch), mostly flat, ugly, and filled with even more shitty corridors and fight pits with enemies bum-rushing you.All three of the dlcs have the same bullshit in them, so much so its hard to even say which one is the worst, because they're all shitty.

3 is the last one, fight against gael is literally at the end of time

>anime poster
who hard did friede rape you?

Shit Souls 2 is not canon

or maybe just the beginning...dun dun dun

Friede, bring me my flail...

>Frog poster
>Friede

How incompetent are you at reading?
I'm talking about Dark Souls II.

*blocks your path*
