Some companies have an excuse, in that the PC market there isn't as large, and their efforts have never really been focused away from console. The more they do it though, the more that excuse wears thin. Square is well past that point by now.

I bought this along with the Xenoverse 2 DLC pack. The font is really jarring, and makes it look pretty cheap but it's still Chrono Trigger on PC so I didn't refund it.
What a really lazy port though, even the mobile FF games were treated better than this.

I already bought the Limited Edition and I'm enjoying it so far.
It's actually the definitive version of Chrono Trigger that stopped short with it's clunky iPhone UI, blurry filter, and pixelated FMVs, but the Super Famicom version still has a special spot in my heart, and those flaws can probably be fixed with mods.
Plus, we have potential for modding the soundtrack for rearranged/remastered/orchestral/symphonic/alternate soundtracks.
