Honestly, for what the game is, basically Tetris and Puyo Puyo it's a damn miracle if it ever gets any sort of a big playerbase. But just like the Switch version I'm sure there will always be people who appreciate it. Not gonna be topping any charts, but I doubt it will have anyone hating on it either.

I'm not saying it's officially dropped by Nintendo, but I bet any devs looking to port their games to handheld will look at the Switch before they turn to the 3DS. It's not dead, I just feel it's massively overshadowed by the Switch.

It requires you to connect to the internet periodically. It's limited to certain processors; if you don't have one of the processors that Denuvo is made for, the game doesn't work. It prevents tampering with the executable which can make it harder for certain types of mods and also prevents you from using trainers

Denuvo is in fucking everything now, I didn't expect it to take off, especially for non-AAA shit.

If you're talking about Sorcery Saga, Puyo Puyo used to be owned by Compile before they became Compile Hearts. Puyo started as a spinoff of the "Madou Monogatari" series, and Compile later sold Puyo and its characters to SEGA. Compile Hearts then rebooted Madou Monogatari with what are basically reskins of the character SEGA now owns (Arle, Carbuncle, Satan, etc) and Sorcery Saga is that reboot.
