ITT:fuck you I liked it
ITT:fuck you I liked it
Congratulations! I didn't, but I'm happy for you.
good for you, your opinion is still shit though
Mee too, but i fucking hate TP.
I like FFXIII
Mega Man Star Force
yeah, it was good
Good for you user.
I liked some parts of SS like the dungeons, but I really disliked some bosses, most of the story, the overworld and so on.
And the first hour is boring as fuck.
But that's my opinion. If you like SS, keep enjoying it and don't care about what other think.
For me the best Zelda games are Breath of the Wild, Majora's Mask and the Oracles.
I would say that SS had the one thing I enjoy most from a zelda game. Cool and interesting dungeons to go through. Everything else was kinda lame, but the dungeons made me smile.
saya is shit
I love farcry primal
Pure Dook-kino
>people saying it was shit and a bad game
>still far more playable than most of the games nowadays
It was better than TP because it didn’t try to be Ocarina of Time
it has two good dungeons
l'll never understand the wank over ancient cistern it was shit, cool boss though
Indefensible, I know you people are coming out of the woodwork because your time in the "Zelda cycle" is here, but this game was always bad.
This. SS is on par with WW (and now BotW) for me. Better than TP but nowhere near OoT or MM.
it's fucking shit.
>l'll never understand the wank over ancient cistern it was shit, cool boss though
The boss is half of the reason. The other half is the cool aesthetics. It's a pretty standard dungeon otherwise.
same , im still mad that it never got any DLC with new tribes or shit like that
The only thing I hated about it was the motion controls. I'm in combat, swinging my sword around and the next thing you know the sensor is all out of line and he's holding it all the way to the left even though I'm holding the wiimote straight ahead. Other than that, no big complaints.
>caring about story in a zelda game
DS2 is unironically my favorite of the series.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want le epik story in Zelda. Stories like the ones in BotW or Twilight princess are more than enough for me in Zelda.
SS however had literally no story until the ending. The ending was awesome tho.
People keep shitting on it here but it was honestly a big improvement over 2 and I really enjoy the BB-infused enemies and roll speed.
I like a lot of things in Skyward Sword but there is also a lot of annoying shit. I also think the combat is garbage and don't see the appeal at all. Same with the twink anime bad guy.
Me too, switch remake when?
>caring about story in any game
Overall it's a solid game. But it has it issues.
+
Good music, I digged the late 19th impressionists-artstyle, It's fun to swing your sword around and I liked having David Bowie as a villain and Fi is CUTE!!
-
Slow start (especially all the tiresome tutorials), backtracking between three worlds, lackluser overworld, so fucking easy and predictable formula.
Also it's more playable than most games of that time imo.
>Among the most story-focused Zelda games
>Not caring about the story and how it bogs the entire game down with its shittiness
>plusses are stupid shit
>minuses are actual gameplay
>everything except gameplay are stupid shit
Holy shit you must be bright.
...
Yeah I did too, it was great.
The God Hand of this generation. And you fuckers didn't want to play it. Goddammit.
I was waiting for some autist to defend this
Seriously zero redeeming factors, even mercs mode is trumped by re4 and 5
Ancient Cistern unironically has the best aesthetics of any Zelda dungeon ever.
Nah that game was shit.
Great concept but bad execution.
That's not Spirit Temple
Forest Temple has the best aesthetics in OOT.
Minish Cap
Age of Empires 3 > 2
The Saboteur > GTA
Yuyushiki > Yuruyuri
Fuck this gay earth
The only bad thing about Minish Cap is the hilariously low difficulty, everything else is fine.
I agree, user. It's not a bad game by any means. It only got bad reviews because people wanted to use the unusually long development cycle as a way of building this game up to something that it never could have been. No game is worth a 10+ year development cycle. Nevermind the fact that the game that we know as Duke Nukem Forever wasn't developed for more than a decade straight as the project had been scrapped and restarted several times.
In the end, it's a decent game. Not fantastic. Not worth a decade long development cycle. But it's good
The same could be said about Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. The series was what, roughly 20 years old at that point, and Nintendo suddenly thought that we had all forgotten how to play Zelda games and that we needed our hands to be held through them. Those games were all insultingly easy, to the point where the low difficulty ended up bringing the game down as a whole
comfy
>Seriously zero redeeming factors
Stop being such a fucking memer dude. Game has problems, but it also has some of the best controls you'll find in a TPS period.
I liked it too, fuck the shitters that claim that the motion controls don't work.
>fuck the shitters that claim that the motion controls don't work
This
Any time the controls didn't work, it was because I was lazy with my swings, like only moving my wrist and not my whole arm.
Final Fantasy 8 is amazing. Yeah, storyline gets pretty retarded, but so? I fucking love the locations you visit in this game, I love the music, I love cool minigame parts like disconnecting train cars and punching a guy while hanging from a flying contraption over a battlezone, I love the card game, I love climbing a tower to beat Odin within 30 minutes, I love how Squall jumps on top of Bahamut during his limit break and heaps more. Just an all around kick arse game that happens to have a shit love story and dumb draw system than can and should be avoided by playing cards.
