And these glasses.
The credits in missions was the dumbest fucking move I've ever seen.
Not only does it ruin the surprise you were supposed to feel in mission but it was all just so Kojima could plaster his name on the game 100 times more.
>FEATURING VOLGIN AS THE BURNING MAN
>FEATURING VENOM SNAKE
Bravo Kojima.
THAT'S
THE
POINT
The other games were movie experiences.
Kojimbo wanted this one to resemble and TV show. Character appearances are a lot of times spoiled by the intro credits to shows.
Yeah it's called agreeing with someone you twonk
The point was to warn you to change your setup because you were going to fight the Skulls
otherwise you would deck yourself out for infiltration and midway through here comes the boss fight and you'd have to restart from the beggining
how about just get good
Sure but that still ruins the experience.
Not really. It doesn't tell you when or how they'll appear.
lolwut. you can beat the game with the starting pistol and rifle, easily. the only reason to change gear is because you want to.
A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME
DIRECTED BY HIDEO KOJIMA
PRODUCED BY HIDEO KOJIMA
HIDEO KOJIMA BY HIDEO KOJIMA
GUEST STARRING HIDEO KOJIMA
Kojima wanted MGSV to be like a TV series, where each mission is a more self-contained story. He didn't really succeed, but there was definitiely some cool stuff like the Paz story, game needed more of that.
The idea of more non-linear storytelling was there but sadly half-baked.
>BOSS, THIS IS JUST A PERFECTLY REGULAR MISSION, GET IN, GRAB THE ROCKET LAUNCHER, AND GET OUT
>STARRING: METAL GEAR
>THE SKULL UNIT
>SKULL FACE
>CIPHER
>THE REAL BIG BOSS
>QUIET
>ELI AKA LITTLE LIQUID
>The point was to warn you to change your setup
Kinda hard to do that when that's the first fucking mission thrown at you.
>play the game
>Kojima's name is everywhere
>read steam forums
It was stylistic and different but it wasn't bad. The bad part was not being able to skip the intros on repeat attempts. The bad part was the game ending half way through.
The credits would've been great if it was just staff names. Seeing stuff like who designed this quest, who designed this level, shit like that, it was neat.
Hell, the cast thing would've been fine as well if it didn't spoil, or straight up uses actor names.
This is dumb. The only person in this industry who plaster his name everywhere is Kojima. You don'T see
>Kingdom Come: Deliverance A Daniel Vavra game
It's not relevant, nor funny
Fuck off m8. I got a pair like that I drive with. It’s fucking bright in the mountains
The more I think about MGSV, the more I hate everything about it but the core gameplay
What a fucking trash heap this game's design is
Randy Pitchford Presents A Randy Pitchford Production proudly presents Battleborn
Yet it's true.
He's right though.
Every second cutscene someone says "phantom", baka at Kojima thinking he's clever
David Cage
Name 5 cutscenes where someone says "phantom".
Hmhh when Kaz is rescued first, when Skull Face first appears, when Skull Face gets killed, when you burn the motherbase soldiers and when you find out you're not Big Boss.
Also every 2nd plot-relevant cassette tape.

He wanted that 80's feel.
>the game warns you to change your equipment by foreshadowing the type of mission you've got ahead
boy I remember how communicative they were before I deployed for "A Quiet Exit" with a sneaking suit and non-lethals expecting a hostage rescue
Its nothing special, its just Kojima pretending to be a movie director

I didn't mind the pre-credits for each mission, but they should have just not put the text up for the skulls, etc when you play the mission for the first time. If you do the mission again, yeah go ahead and put them there.
Yeah, it's a pretty shitty way to go out on the series.
Tried playing it again after BotW
It feels so fucking clunky, snake constantly slides back down slight inclines in the terrain, the idroid menus still take fucking forever. Shit feels like it was made 10 years ago.
Who was the the director of metal gear solid v again?
>its a video game pretends its a TV series episode
why is this a thing?
I'll be replaying mgs1-3 for the rest of my life. I might even play 4 a couple more times. But I will never touch 5 ever again.
>tfw TPP and Survive are two of my favourite games :3
WOAH OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Didn't you finish your loadout before the missions' intros?
WOAH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
this has to be bait
Actually it's both.
Not in the cover. You just see QD logo, the same happen with ND games. You don't in the cover "A Neil Druckmann game", no, you see the company's logo.
That's because neither Druckmann, not Cage Directs/Writes/Produces/Designs their games. All at the same time.
Is there a more narcisstic prick in the industry than Hideous Kojima? I bet he has his name plastered all over his bed room and faps to reading it every single night
