This is the worst boss in videogames
This is the worst boss in videogames
...
>first phase is kind of tedious
>second phase is B+ tier difficulty but not the most fun
eh, there are worse Souls bosses.
I'm surprised to find someone who doesn't irrationally shit on the Old Demon King.
>best in the series
>all bosses on the whole pic are from 1 game
I thought it was super easy. Every boss was easy except Sully, which just took some adjustment to timing.
is this just based on difficulty instead of how good the boss is?
git gud
>hesitates and shakes before striking down his friend
No.
*blocks your path*
He's easy.
>4 bosses from 1 game can't be the best in the series.
No, because Gael is easier than some of the lower ranked bosses. Halflight can be one of the hardest fights in the game depending on your build, but that doesn't make him good.
Lmao learn to read, I wouldn't care if they were all from one game if another fucking game was even represented. All tiers are ds3
Nameless King is fun, though?
>4 bosses from 1 game can't be the best in the series.
That's the point you colossal retard, it's only for DaS3.
I feel like DaS3's bloat of iframes made everything way too easy. Also the parry frames and the hitboxes on the parry window are fucking retarded.
I felt extremely disappointed by the bosses in this game, all of them. They were all so easy to run over that finding a new one became anti-climactic.
I like Ancient Wyvern and High Lord Wolnir.
>Amazing cinematic detailing 3 of the main bosses.
>All three are complete fucking pushovers.
I got stuck on abyss watchers, pontiff, dancer, aldritch
how do you get that bloodborne dodge mechanic in dark souls 3, I played at 40% weight and never got those dodges. is he using a dlc ninja ring I don't know about?
Dancer caught me out on the last hit several times, but up until that point didn't cause me any trouble and Pontiff was closest to being something.
it's a weapon art
It's the weapons art for the axe he's using.
I summoned 2 faggots to kill him, fight me
Why would I do that, it wouldn't be a challenge.
he's not even bad
My friend told me about him when we were drinking
I beat him when i was so drunk that i had to close one eye so that i could play without seeing two fucking dragons
I did it on my second try
You liking them doesn't make them not shit.
might have to do a quickstep build.
pyro seems so boring though
Wow. You must be really good at video games.
>abyss watchers
Who designed this shit?
The ost is good however
I was just bored and threw it on. You can use it with any build really.
>a fucking DIO song in boss fight form
You ought to fucking show some respect for this encounter, you baddie shitcunt.
>Friede
>good
No. Slightly above-average boss with artificially difficulty to make a cinematic fight rather than an entertaining fight
>3 phases, each with a full health bar and a gank in the 2nd phase since she's piss easy on her own
>until the 3rd phase where she has one or 2 safe windows to attack and her recovery time becomes almost instant
>shitty knock-off of a mediocre boss in a mediocre game (Lady Maria from Bloodborne), only difference being Friede has a grab move with a bullshit hitbox that would fit in DS2
>shitty lore. To sum it quickly she's one of the 3 sister of the Sable Church of Londor but she left because she was the strongest in the Sable Church. Literally Coldsteel the Hedgheg tier
>she's letting her world rot because she's an edgy cunt
>only a highlight since she's one of the only 2 bosses in one of the worst DLCs in the series, the other boss being a shitty gank boss guarding arena cancer.
>waifufags, footfags, and DaS3fags defend her because she's a girl, can see her feet, and the only thing close to Bloodborne without buying a Bloodborne machine to play it
Watch as the only defense you will see are "s-she's cute! Muh feet! Le git gud xDD". Painfully average boss overrated to hell and back
Change Soul of Cinder and Dark-Eater Midir from Retard Filter to the tier above it. They can't be filters if they are the Last boss. This has been said time and time again.
>cinder not in the best boss
>invalid
Timing i-frames is a must-have skill because so many games call for it. It's easy.
thanks man
Dio is overrated.
Worst camera during a boss, maybe.
>one of
No, it's pretty much objectively the worst DLC in the series. Both talking about price and content.
Ringed City only barely makes up for it.
I stayed hopeful that DaS3 would spike in difficulty for as long as I could, but once I beat Soul of Cinder on my first try I just couldn't enjoy it.
how the fuck do you stagger and riposte him like that??
just dodge lmao
Pretty much every boss has a stagger after you've done a certain amount of damage to them.
plz don’t bully the deacons, they are trying their absolute best and I love them very much
>L&L that high
I like the fight, but I don't think it's "best in the series" material
Question: Was DS3 your first souls game? If not, then maybe it's not the game that is intrinsically easy but it's your experience making it easier for you.
You can literally stunlock his ass at SL1
...
It's completely boring and probably the easiest fight in the entire game.
You can literally stunlock his ass at SL1.
The Friede fight is one of the only legitimately challenging fights in DaS3. The only real gripes I have with it is that, like NK, she reads the player's input queue.
They're retard filters because anyone that has trouble with them is a retard.
>member gwyn i cryd wen pinino stratid
He's a bad boss that's just reused animations and has a hilariously small healthpool.
I played Ds2 as my last game in the series and struggled hard with a few of the bosses and areas, and considering the massive speed difference between the games this probably doesnt apply.
>>first phase is kind of tedious
Get yourself a greatsword. It takes like 4 hits and then a critical.
It's a worse version of Prowling Magus and Celestial Emissaries, two fights that are already fucking awful.
Git gud
>They're retard filters because anyone that has trouble with them is a retard.
If that's the case than Gael, Nameless King and Twin Princes should all be in that category as well.
Or it could be that it was full of the exact same beginner traps from DaS1 with no variation and the dodging is more forgiving than ever. I played 2 without putting a single point into agility and dodged just fine, but I was still challenged consistently because their designs weren't for babies. I'm the one you responded to.
No, because like the list says, they're some of the best in the series.
Not the guy you're talking to, but I started with DS3 and found it to be the easiest. DS1's wasn't that much harder outside of a few areas, and I'm currently playing through DS2, which is by far the most difficult since the roll has far less distance and iframes, and using Estus actually takes some commitment.
But only a retard could have trouble beating any of them.
oh boi you havent seen the whole of dark souls 2 yet.
> uses the term artificial difficulty and a bloodborne comparison
> wants to be taken seriously
it's an honest fight that requires precise timing and good positioning like other enjoyable souls bosses. more fun/ challenging than gael too
You going to summon for that too?
Difficulty =/= good, else most Dark Souls bosses would be garbage tier, especially DaS3.
I KNEW IT! I KNEW THAT CRYSTAL SAGES ARE FUCKING GARBAGE
I thought i might just be retarded for a moment, glad to see reddit to aggree with me
thanks lads.
But the only reason you gave that the other bosses were in that tier was because only retards could have trouble beating them.
See:
Okay but that doesn't change the fact that only retards could have trouble beating them and that they should be in that tier based on the reason you gave that the other bosses were in that tier.
>This is one of the best bosses in Dark Souls 3
ftfy, OP
I actually really like gimmick bosses. Yhorm is laughably easy but the rest of those are actually fun and interesting.
See:
>This is the worst boss in videogames
I have experienced worse.
I still have no idea how you are supposed to harm it
Looks like a homing shot
I'm sorry that you can't seem to emotionally handle that Gael, Nameless King, and especially Twin Princes are retard filters because, as you said, only retards could have trouble with them.
If Friede got me to do anything, it was to attack more aggressively. Once you get a grasp of her moves, you can interrupt and flatten her. I figured that was the sentiment intended of the two ashes creating a great fire.
Don't have a ps4, but I though it was a similar thing with BB, but what do I know.
See:
Pathetic.
Ornstein and Smough is one of the worst fights in Souls if you aren't summoning anyone.
Ornstein gets staggered in 1-2 hits of any weapon though, all you have to do is make sure Smough can't hit you then stunlock Ornstein down. Then Smough gets so big he can't even hit you with half of his attacks if you're standing next to him
This
her fight isn't as fun or challenging or enjoyable as Gael's, and a a UGS user, her only saving grace is that the Astora Greatsword's blade art flattens her and her masochistic daddy.
just beat him an hour ago on my 3rd try. His attacks are so easily telegraphed its funny. Probably one of the only bosses in the game that I honestly cant blame anyone but myself for dying on.
>Midir
>retard filter
No, he's just cheap as fuck. He becomes easy after a while, yes, but only after you've memorized his camera-breaking moveset like fucking flash cards. The fact that you practically need pestilent mist to beat him before it becomes especially tedious says enough. His fuckhuge health pool drags the fight on longer than any enjoyability can persist. Fix the list and give him his own tier.
>More Tedious than Blue Smelter Demon tier
>I feel like DaS3's bloat of iframes made everything way too easy
Ehh, kinda sorta, not really
>Also the parry frames and the hitboxes on the parry window are fucking retarded.
Okay, you're actually 400% correct. Parrying is bullshit. Loved it in DaS, hated it in the subsequent games.
