The Nintendo Switch is almost a year old, are you or will you be one of the many that gets it during it's first year?
Anything I should be aware of before I get it tomorrow?

yeah, dont update
Don't listen to the hype men. Doom port is bad. Skyrim port is great. Buy up all the budget priced physical release indies. And get all them first party releases
It's a great system if you will end up using handheld mode more often than not. Just make sure there are enough games that appeal to you and should be good.
No fuck off
>literally no games except fucking Kirby for 2018
OH NO NO NO NO
just download cemu instead,
>trying to spread FOMO on a fucking console
the skyrim port is the 360 version by the way.
Wait till it gets hacked
don't get a pro controller or listen to shills telling you to buy one
Just steal it. Shoot the kid behind the register so the rest of the staff know you're not fucking around, them shoot them once you get your Switch.
No survivors, no witnesses.
Thanks just bought 100k
Probably don't plan to do homebrew yet. I hear Switch systems tend to fail for a lot of people and I don't want to void the warranty in case mine does
Already did and I already own a wii u. I'm mainly going for Mario, Kirby and Xenoblade. Also Dragon Quest if that comes out in the west
I have a Gaming PC so I don't need to get Skyrim or Doom for it
the system is fantastic and it has good games lined up. there's just nothing to play right now. I want Bayonetta but I'll be damned giving Nintendo $60 for old ports
>Already did and I already own a wii u. I'm mainly going for Mario, Kirby and Xenoblade. Also Dragon Quest if that comes out in the west
But why?
I was a nintenchin from the beginning. The only reason I didn't get the Switch earlier was because I was working on my PC build. Good thing I did before the cryptocurrency bullshit pushed all the GPU prices up higher, had to fucking settle for a 970 instead of the 1060 as a result.
>I want Bayonetta but I'll be damned giving Nintendo $60 for old ports
It's only $40 if you only get one of them.
there's nothing pretty about being an old infant though. when do you plan on making a family?
>$40 for one game
>when I could get DMC collection with 3 game for $40
>when I could get DMC4 SE for $25
that'll be a no from me, Jim
Dude dont get it tomrrow, wait until the 3rd
Thats do or die day. If there is a direct with tons of new games, great.
If not, it means no Directs till post E3 and we are stuck in this awful drought for the rest of the year.
Honestly, unless you really really want to play Odyssey, I would say find a use Wii U for cheap. Its all the same games but at a fraction of the cost, and that acutally has a robust virtual console, while the Switch has none at all.
When I have the money to support one and my anxiety of hooking up with a whore passes
if you save the 4-500 dollars you plan on spending on games to take time that you could spend earning money or skills will you be nearer or farther from that goal?
Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi.
Got it on day one at 7 AM and I'm very happy with it. First few months was rough but as soon as Odyssey came out I was satisfied with my investment.
I bought one and also bought one for my gf. Also bough zelda, bomberman and the zelda case
Well those game won't last forever and these kind of games doesn't get made much anymore, so you might as well buy Bayonetta to.
I'd rather not elaborate any further on my finances and future. Let's just say that I can't really afford to be with a woman right now.
I'm pretty sure spending a lot of money and time on games will not help that. If anything, it will perpetuate it.
Why don't you feel comfortable around women? Do you not feel interesting or attractive? Do you realize you can spend time to address that?
Clock's ticking. You don't want to get to 40 and realize you're out of time.
Name confirmed 2018 games worth paying $300
Lol
Kirby
AoT2 but I'm just going to pirate that
Mega Man 11
>two multiplats on lower resolution and fps than a less expensive ps4
Well of course I have plans to get more games for this system as time goes by but as I said above, my main focus is Mario, Kirby, Zelda and Dragon Quest.
You just gave me a sudden realization that the Switch is the first console I've bought in its first year.
>Zelda
Whoops, meant Xenoblade
Is this any good? I'm looking for a comfy RPG I can play in bed before going to sleep.
We can nearly pirate games for it. So soon for me.
