Nightmare's moves is Seigfried's. Really I see them both being in like how they do jin and devil jin.

The two characters share some moves, but Siegfried has a much more fluid "stance to stance" playstyle than Nightmare, who relies mostly on setting up for his heavy hitters.

Even if the two were identical when it comes to movesets (which they are not), Siegfrieds base stance would be preferable to me over Nightmare's overtly edgy one.

It's a complaint about removing content only for narrative reasons. Of course, it is not yet sure if Siegfried really is out but if he is, it's a really poor decision.

Yeah, pretty much like how Devil jin and jin are on a roster as seperate characters even even though only one of them is actually important to the story of the game

Kilik has been hinted to be an edgelord with Kali-yuga for like the longs and this is finally the game that puts that backstory out there for some focus

But the two characters play nothing alike (both DJ/Jin and Sieg/NM)
Removing an extremely popular character like Siegfried really hurts the gameplay aspect (the important part of the game) in a legacy game like SC

That said I'm not too worried about it. There's only been like 5 announced characters so far so it's not like he's an unlikely pick

you shouldn't really give an opinion on the matter if you've obviously never played any soul calibur game ever
