I guess I never had that much of an attachment to the witcher franchise because I really don´t see a point in crying about things that happened in the past, being upset about it won´t turn Witcher 3 suddenly in an amazing game. for me Witcher 3 tunred out to be such a giant disappointment because it had zero of the things that made Witcher 2 so great like for example real choices that DRASTICALLY changed the middle and end part of the game

if what OP said is true I don´t see why you should be worried. if the people that wrote witcher 2 are really now working on Cyberpunk I feel optimistic that it is gonna avoid the story and dialogue problems that Witcher 3 had

I think why I hate Witcher 3 so much is the fact that they strip geralts nhilism away. He never gets pissy or mopey like he does in the books and the first two games.

He seems way to happy go lucky compared to the books and they made Yenn act like a absolute cunt while in the books she was just a bitter cold women because she was infertile. Ciri was okay though, could of had a bit more of a backbone.

I think the reason they changed Geralt a bit was so the gameplay would make sense. In the books, Geralt's motto is don't get involved, but if they stuck to that most sidequests wouldn't make sense. So instead of nihilistic, detached Geralt we get chipper, ready to help anyone Geralt
