It's about bosses trying to break your sleight with huge combos. Some sleights like ars arcanum are not even viable without activating an enemy card that provides break protection.

But if you activate one of those enemy cards bosses will always waste their sleight trying to break it which is funny.

Sonic Blade is fine in the GBA version. Only a few of the flying enemies are safe from it in Re: CoM.

More like only a few flying enemies can be hit by it and also only when they fly low. It wouldn't be so bad when the chain immediately stops when the attack doesn't connect. Blitz continues the chain no matter what.
Lethal Frame has great damage and the stop effect is great too, especially against Axel, but the it's one of the most boring sleights to use against common enemies.

I have no doubt that it will have by far the best gameplay in the series.

It was impossible to live up to the hype after that interview where it was said that every world in kingdom hearts 3 is as big as all the worlds in one of the previous games combined. Still will be a great game though.
