1999. Counter-Strike.

When Starcraft, CS, WoW, TF2 etc

Post 2010

TF2

When consoles became underwhelming.

When the PC master race meme went in full swing and everyone and their mother's were posting about their custom builds which they used to play minecraft and f2p games. Right now PC is at its lowest point imO. Every game aside from some very niche shit, and even most of that, is playable on console. Don't get me wrong, PCs are still great and good for games especially major sweaty tryhard competitiveness but the major advantages it used to have over consoles is at its smallest point ever. Unless you like really nice shadows on faraway objects.

>Every game aside from some very niche shit

Pubg is the biggest paid game in the world by a huge margin, and league is the biggest free one.

pubg is on xbox

>Counter-Strike
>World of Warcraft
>Call of Duty 1

hell, pubg is on a fucking cell phone

And it runs like a 600 pound man.

League isn't, and pubg both runs like shit on Xbox and isn't even on PS4. The meme of consoles having the mainstream exclusives and pc having the niche ones has completely reversed.

Since Sims 1

when 2K games became a thing

you know this is the truest answer

Pshhh your examples are of games that run on toasters.

1996?

When nvidia/steam marketers started flooding game-related message boards/image boards/websites with their advertisements and then a bandwagon of retards started to think it was real and began regurgitating the same lines and jargon exponentially

Looks like we gotta move to the Virtual Boy for a real mans console now.

the moment when consoles stopped to have any games

>PUBG

I have never ever seen a game more infested with cheaters.

Not in the meme kind of way but holy shit, there is one in every second game.
